i-894 back open this morning after a crash overnight shuts down the street. the greenfield fire department tweeted that it involved a plow truck and a vehicle...and that one person was taken to the hospital. no word on that person's condition....or what caused the crash. all lanes reopened around five this morning. city of milwaukee d-p-w crews working through the night clearing snow and salting... that means parking regulations are strictly enforced to give them plenty of room...and if you don't cooperate your car could be

the east side with more. the dpw called for an overnight snow removal operation. the four inch rule is in effect... to avoid getting ticketed or towed...you'll want to read posted signs carefully... the four inch rule means no parking is allowed on the side of the street where the sign is posted until the snow has been removed --day or night--any time of the year. you should also familiarize yourself streets on those streets...sunday night through 6 am today...cars need to be on the odd side of the street. and tonight...through tuesday morning those cars need to move to the even side of the street. dpw officials say this will help them avoid icy roads...allowing them to clear all of the snow before a cold front moves in later this week. some east side residents tell us they've been through this before. stops and sidewalks this morning. plows will also make passes on the side streets live on the east side dc fox6 news.. in waukesha county, tow truck drivers say the long, steady storm kept them busy. some drivers were working for more than 24 hours since the snow started on saturday. man responded to minor crashes -- like this s-u-v that ran into an electrical box and some 38 cars slid into the ditch as of last night. waukesha county says there was one crash that resulted in an injury. happening now --- this winter weather storm causing some travel issues at airports across the midwest. this is a live look at milwaukee's general mithcell international airport. where only a few flights to detroit and cincinnati have been delayed this morning. the only cancellation so far is

than 13-hundred flights were canceled yesterday alone at o'hare and midway airports. crews were out overnight there clearing the runways for normal scheduling to resume. most flights this morning are on time...and cancellations are dramatically down. so far -- o'hare has about 60 canceled flights today...and midway only has one. you can track this cold winter weather right from your phone. just download the fox 6 storm center app, it's available on android and apple. of georgia --- where two police officers were shot overnight. nicole is in the newsroom with the latest. two police officers are in the hospital this morning - after someone started shooting at them while serving a search warrant. it happened around 2-30 this morning in byron, georgia --- that's just outside of macon. investigators say the officers knocked on the door three times and announced themselves, but no one answered. when they went inside --- someone started shooting. the officers returned fire. the condition of the suspect and officers

of the peach county drug task force. the slenderman stabbing case back in court today. angelica is here with a look at the day ahead. a judge will once again hear from the lawyer of morgan geyser in waukesha county today. geyser and anissa weier are accused of stabbing a classmate when they were 12...to please the fictional character slenderman. the girls are now fifteen. their lawyers maintain the children had mental health concerns and were not represented when they asking that confessions and statements made at the time of the crime in may 2014 be thrown out. geyser's evidentiary hearing is set to get underway at 9 a-m. also in court today - the two women charged in connection to the death of a 7-year-old. etter hughes and mary martinez were watching trevion winningham and his 9-year old brother earlier this month. investigators say the boy was badly bruised and malnourished when he died at the hospital now the two woman facing child neglect

a preliminary hearing at 8:30 this morning. today is the deadline for the wisconsin election recount. green party presidential nominee jill stein lead the effort for the recount. nearly all of the states 72 counties are finished with the recount. wisconsin faces a federal deadline tomorrow to report results for the electoral college. state election officials say more than 2 point 8 million ballots have been recounted. meantime, former presidential candidate bernie sanders will be in hall event scheduled with msnbc in kenosha. and president-elect donald trump... set to visit west allis tomorrow - where he'll hold a thank you rally at the state fair expo center at 7:00. we've posted the details on our website-- fox6 now dot com. police find a lost dogs and the photo is going viral online. the reason why --- coming up. plus, someone is photoshopping president elect donald trumps head onto queen elizabeth's body. the

the packers picked up their third straight win by whipping the seattle seahawks yesterday, 38-10. our tim van vooren has the blitz from lambeau field. "the 325th consecutive sellout at lambeau field meant another big developed between the packers and seahawks over the last couple of years. and this time around a big, big win for the packers i'm mean, it's december football. we've done a good job in the past of winning games like this at home. and this was another example of how important our home field advantage is. i mean this was a big win against a very skilled opponent. an opponent favored in our side of the division. so to come our here and have this type of performance, it was definitely big.

we are following breaking news out of georgia --- the suspect who shot at two police officers overnight has died. investigators say the man was shot multiple times and died in the home early this morning. police say the officers were search warrant when the suspect open officers returned fire. one of the officers was as treated and released at a hospital.. the other officer was more seriously wounded and had to undergo surgery. we'll update this story as we learn more. back here in milwaukee --- a crash shutdown part of i-894 eastbound near 60th street overnight. the greenfield fire department tweeted that it involved a plow truck and a vehicle...and that one person was taken to the hospital. no word on that person's condition....or what caused the crash. crews have been working non stop to clean up the snow...and

before midnight on friday -- police found a 5-week-old infant dead in a home near 51st and north. a cause of death has not been released in either case... and the cases are not linked. we're waiting for autopsy results to learn more. we're also awaiting autopsy results for a woman who was found dead outside a northside home saturday... after police listed her as critically missing. police found the body of sabrina allen just before noon -- near townsend and hubbard. police reported her missing friday -- saying she suffers from health issues. she was last seen near third and nash. about a deadly warehouse fire in california. and a jury has found the man accused of killing a former new orleans saints player -- guilty of multiple charges. jessob is in the newsroom with details. yesterday - jurors deliberated for more than five hours -- ultimately finding cardell hayes guilty of manslaughter. last april, hayes shot former n-f-l player will smith seven times in the player will smith seven times in the back, killing him after a traffic dispute in downtown new orleans. smith's wife was also

in american history. did russia hack our presidential election? some in washington are demanding answers after recent reports that it happened. angelica is here with details. a bipartisan group of high-profile senators is looking for answers following recent intelligence reports of russian interference in the u-s election. republican senators john mccain and lindsey graham joined democratic reed to call for an investigation into the findings. the call for a probe comes after u-s intelligence agencies said they concluded russia directed the hacking of democratic operatives and other moves in an effort to help president-elect donald trump defeat hillary clinton in the 2016 election. the president-elect has blasted the findings, calling the assessment "ridiculous." meantime, the deadline for an election recount happening here in wisconsin is today.
