resulted in an injury. and 38 reports of cars sliding into ditches as of last night. you can track this cold winter weather right from your phone. just download the fox 6 storm center app, it's available on android and apple. we are followingbreaking news this morning out of georgia --- where two police officers were shot overnight. kim is in the newsroom with an update on their conditions. one of the police officers remains in the hospital this morning - after someone started shooting at them while serving a search warrant. morning in byron, georgia --- that's just outside of macon. investigators say the officers knocked on the door three times and announced themselves, but no one answered. when they went inside --- a man started shooting. the officers returned fire -- killing the suspect. one of the officers was as treated and released at a hospital.. the other officer was more seriously wounded and had to undergo surgery. we're told the officers are part of the peach county drug task force. the so-called slenderman case moves ahead in waukesha county court today.
