then hit by another car. three people in the other car were injured...and are expected to be ok. it's unclear what caused the crash. all lanes have since reopened. a teenage girl is shot to death... and police are still searching for the murder suspect. i just want them to find out who did this and give us some peace. anxious relatives gathered near the scene at 35th and silver spring last night. they say the victim is 15-year-old melanie inside an apartment when someone fired shots outside that went into the building and hit johnson. johnsons sister tells us her younger sibling liked to read and enjoyed being a babysitter... adding she has no idea why this happened. were hurting behind this, like, a lot. were hurting a lot behind this. this really is gonna be tough for us to go through. just pray for us. relatives say johnson was in the kitchen when she was shot. m-p-d says theyre trying to

target. in cudahy -- several people are out of their condo after an electrical fire at this building on creekside and college. it happened just before 7 last night. no word on how it started, but officials say it does not appear to be suspicious. no one was hurt. the investigation is ongoing president-elect donald trump-- expected to make more big announcements about his cabinet today. this as the president-elect takes his thank you tour to wisconsin today. angelica joins us from the newsroom with new information. president-elect donald trump he's holding a thank you rally at the state fair expo center at 7 tonight. governor scott walker and house speaker paul ryan will also be there. the details are on our website fox6 now dot com. the president elect is expected to announce his choice for secretary of state today. sources close to mister trump's transition team say his choice is exxon mobil ceo rex tillerson. mitt romney was in the running for the job, but the president-elect reportedly called romney yesterday to give him the news.

tweeting-- it was an honor to have been considered for secretary of state of our great country. meanwhlie-- president-elect trump is adding another veteran of goldman sachs to his administration. the president-elect said yesterday he would elect gary cohn as director of the national economic council. cohn is currently the president and c- o-o at goldman sachs. cohn follows in the footsteps of a number of others with goldman ties...including the president-elect's treasury secretary pick steve mnuchin. wisconsin's recount is over -- and president-elect donald trump actually added to his lead-- gaining 131 votes. the elections commission certified the results a day ahead of the federal deadline, guaranteeing that congress will recognize wisconsins 10 electoral votes. green party candidate jill stein requested the recount after concerns were raised that the state's voting machines may have been hacked. the commission says

if they hacked our system and they did not hack our system." we don't yet know the actual cost of the recount, but stein must pay the bill. meanwhile-- senators from both parties now calling for an investigation into a c-i-a report -- concluding that russia intervened in the 2016 election...specifically to help president- eect donald trump win. the us government announced in october that it was "confident" russia orchestrated the hacking of the democratic and other democratic political organizations. those hacks resulted in the release of thousands of stolen emails, many of which included damaging revelations about the democratic party and former secretary of state hillary clinton. earlier this month -- the c-i-a announced to a group of senators that russia's hacks were aimed at helping the president-elect. there is also evidence that entities connected to the russian government were bankrolling "troll farms" that spread fake news about clinton.

investigation into possible russian cyber attacks against the election. ryan said in a statement, 'any intervention by russia is especially problematic because, under president putin, russia has been an aggressor that consistently undermines american interests.' but governor scott walker said he didn't see any evidence of a hack. he compared russia helping mr trump to the leader of scotland endorsing hillary clinton during the campaign. walker -- from monday i dont think leaders from other countries, one way or the other, whethers its for donald trump or hillary clinton or any other candidate and i think make those decisions :00 clinton's campaign also supports the efforts by members of the electoral college to request an intelligence briefing on foreign interference in the presidential election. her campaign is also calling on the obama administration to declassify information around russia's role in the election. the milwaukee county board is expected to vote thursday on establishing policy for external investigations of in-custody deaths at the milwaukee county jail and house of correction. it's in

county jail this year. an audit of the private medical services contract for the jail and house of correction is already underway. a milwaukee woman has a warning for others after she says a man tried to sexually assault her in a locker room. the alleged incident occurred at the y-m- c-a branch at 14th and north back in october. the 27-year-old victim says a man came into the women's locker room, forced her into a shower and tried to sexually assault her. fortunately another woman and a child walked in and spooked the man. he ran away. milwaukee police nf but no arrests have been made. that's why the victim says she wanted to share her story. so other members of "the y" can be on alert. that is the ultimate reason why i wanted to come forward. because there are a lot of children who attend this ymca. the ymca's operations executive tells fox 6 "the y" has fully cooperated with police-- and turned over the names of people who checked in on october 15th. last night-- the interim ceo of the

"49:36 its just terrible its just terrible 39" saturday, milwaukee police say a witness saw someone steal items from a postal vehicle here near griffin and euclid. the suspect took off-- and the mailman came back to an empty truck. respect for life. across america... six police officers in georgia-- shot in just six days... two officers died after they were shot while responding to a domestic dispute in americus last wednesday... the suspect took his own life. then yesterday -- two more police officers from byron were shot during a drug operation. they were part of a task force serving a search warrant. they were shot as they entered the home...but were able to fire back and killed the suspect. both officers expected to recover. georgia-- two more officers were shot while conducting a traffic stop. police say the officers discovered the vehicle was stolen and tried to arrest the suspect... that's when the suspect opened fire. the two officers are being treated for non-life threatening injuries. police are still searching for the suspect in this case. an officer-involved shooting in california has left an elderly man dead police say 73-year-old francisco serna pulled out a gun when officers

killing him. investigators later said no gun was found at the scene.. the family says serna had dementia, and police were called to his home before without incident. the officer who killed serna is on administrative leave. a plane is forced to to make an emergency landing in new york after a bomb threat. the flight was en route from houston, texas to germany when the threat was made to the airliner's corporate office. after learning of the threat, the pilot opted to land the plane at new york's john f. kennedy airport. more than 5-hundred passengers were evacuated and shuttled to the terminal. police say the plane was searched by a k-9 team...all luggage and cargo was checked as well. bill cosby is due in a pennsylvania court today for a pre-trial hearing. angelica joins us from the newsroom with new information. bill cosby is facing aggravated indecent assault charges, for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting andrea constand. the former temple university employee says cosby assaulted her at his home in 2004. today's hearing will focus on 13-other
