this morning. a police officer is injured -- after a shooting in nashville. the suspect had barricaded himself inside a nearby motel. police say the officer was shot in the shoulder... he is in the hospital this morning. we'll continue to follow this story and bring you updates as we get them. a deadly crash in kenosha county is under investigation this morning. it happened on i-94 near the highway 142 exit. we're told that a woman died after she hit the median...and was southbound. three people in the other car were injured...and are expected to be ok. it's unclear what caused the crash. the interstate was shut down overnight but all lanes have since reopened. a man is recovering this morning after a shooting on milwaukee's near northside. around 12-30 police say they were called to the area of fourth and center after a fight ends in gunfire. we're told a 49-year-old man was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. m-p-d investigators have several possible leads on a potential suspect, but right now no on is

announced his choice for secretary of state today. mister trump is tapping exxon mobil c-e-o rex tillerson. this pick could lead to a potential fight with congress. tillerson has no foreign policy experience...but does have close connections with many world leaders. some are concerned about tillerson's connections with russian president vladimir putin. tillerson has worked for exxon mobil for 40 years. through the end of 20-15..he made more than 240 million dollars as c-e-o. and later today -- president-elect donald trump will be making a stop in west allis. he's holding state fair expo center at 7:00. mr. trump and vice president-elect mike pence will both be there. governor scott walker and house speaker paul ryan will also be attending. doors open at 4 pm. we will have continuing coverage of the president-elect's stop in wisconsin tonight on fox six news. wisconsin's recount is over -- and president-elect donald trump actually added to his lead-- gaining 131 votes. the elections commission certified the results a day

congress will recognize wisconsins 10 electoral votes. green party candidate jill stein requested the recount after concerns were raised that the state's voting machines may have been hacked. the commission says it found no such evidence. "the commissions job was to see if they hacked our system and they did not hack our system." we don't yet know the actual cost of the recount, but stein must pay the bill. you could soon see more plows out on milwaukee streets. vote a proposal to replace lead water pipes. angelica is here with details. milwaukee aldermen are expected to vote today on a new policy to deal with lead pipes and part of the cost would fall on homeowners. the proposal would replace lead pipes with copper... the city would cover two thirds of the cost... while offering financial assistance to property owners for the rest of the bill. the payments would be incremental. 70 thousand households in milwaukee are affected by lead laterals.

afternoon. milwaukee police helping kids in need this holiday season. it's a thanks to a partnership with "shielded hearts." shielded hearts is a non-profit organization for police officers' wives and girlfriends. yesterday, chief ed flynn joined them for a special news conference. they're "rounding up" new toys, books and stuffed animals for the child advocacy center-- which helps abused and neglected kids in milwaukee county. the alleged incident occurred at the y-m- c-a branch at 14th and north back in october. the 27-year-old victim says a man came into the women's locker room, forced her into a shower and tried to sexually assault her. fortunately another woman and a child walked in and spooked the man. he ran away. milwaukee police confirm they are investigating-- but no arrests have been made. that's why the victim says she wanted to share her story. so other members of "the y" can be on alert. that is the ultimate reason why i wanted to come forward. because there are a lot of children who the y-m-c-a's operations executive tells fox 6 "the y" has fully cooperated with police-- and turned over the names of people who checked in on october 15th. the interim ceo of the milwaukee ymca reached out to provide more detail. jack takerian tells fox6, 'the video the ymca turned over to the milwaukee police department on the day of the alleged incident, we are not seeing any such incident occur or a male enter a

bill cosby heading back to court today. and a bomb threat forces a flight to make an emergency landing at j-f-k international. jessob is in the newsroom with details. officials say the flight was en route from houston, texas to germany... when the bomb threat was made to lufthansa's corporate office. after learning of the threat, the pilot opted to land the plane at new york's john f. kennedy airport. more than five-hundred passengers were evacuated and shuttled to the terminal. port authority police say the plane was searche checked as well. happening today - a pre-trial hearing for bill cosby. the actor faces aggravated indecent assault charges... for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting andrea constand - a former temple university employee - back in 2004. today's hearing will focus on 13-other women who leveled similar accusations against cosby. a judge needs to decide whether their testimonies should be
