the shelter opens back up overnight the demand for help spikes this time of year. repairers of the breach has been busy. on monday night--12 people passed through, tuesday afternoon more than 100. that number is expected to grow as the cold air sticks around. staff are working extra hours....putting out food, scarves and hats. the first republican to win wisconsin since ronald reagan. last night -- he thanked governor scott walker and house speaker paul ryan for their hard work. a ceasefire that was to end a two year bloody war in syria is broken. hours before a planned evacuation was set to take place....shelling resumed in a rebel-held neighborhood. the turkey-brokered ceasefire between regime-aligned militia and rebel forces was announced yesterday. government forces had reclaimed most of aleppo. the planned evacuation of rebels and civilians has now been delayed. the first group that was supposed to leave was to consist of 70 injured people and their family members. today marks four years since the deadly shooting at the sandy hook elementary school in connecticut. 20-year-old adam lanza killed 20 children and six teachers. the gunman also shot and killed his mother before driving to

own life. a moment of silence is planned today at 9:30 a.m....and a counceling center will be open for extended hours. body camera footage has been released...after two georgia officer were shot during a traffic stop monday night. the two officers approached the man after they had stopped him for driving a stolen car. the video shows one of the officers being shot in the arm and then the other in the hand. the officers then run to safety. after a massive search effort -- police located the gunman. they found khari gordon hiding in some bushes about a mile from attempted murder and aggravated assault charges. both officers are recovering. and in california -- the investigation continues into an officer-involved shooting in bakersfield that left a 73-year-old man dead. the family of francisco serna says the 73-year-old was suffering from dementia when he was killed. police say they were called to serna's neighborhood early monday amid reports of a man threatening neighbors and possibly having a gun. when police got there, they say serna walked toward one officer
