overnight the demand for help spikes this time of year. repairers of the breach has been busy. on monday night--12 people passed through, tuesday afternoon more than 100. that number is expected to grow as the cold air sticks around. staff are working extra hours....putting out food, scarves and hats. silver spring monday night. 15-year-old melanie johnson was in the kitchen when the gunfire began. tonight's vigil took place right outside the front door. family members are begging anyone with information to come forward. she was full of life. it wasnt a day that you can go without melanie making you smile. milwaukee police say theyre investigating the circumstances of the shooting-- including who the intended target was. relatives say they're certain it was not melanie. has died... after he reportedly suffered a heart attack playing hockey with his teenage son. the 69-year-old was rushed to the hospital but later died. thicke is most famous for his role as jason seaver. he was also a frequent guest on talkshows and game shows. thicke is survived by his three sons...singer robin thicke...brennan, carter and his wife tanya. we will have reaction to thicke's passing... in our next half hour of wakeup. straight ahead - caught on camera - a woman... dragged off a flight by

that's why when temperatures hit 10 or below...repairers of the breach extends their hours. repairers of the breach is open seven in the morning until 4 in the evening. but this week...they're open overnight... on monday night--12 people passed through, tuesday afternoon more than 100. that number is expected to grow. the staff make sure food is hot and put out s they are working extra hours but they say it is worth it. many have been homeless at some point in their lives...and say they understand what their clients are going through "its not big but when they come here i make them feel warm welcomed and loved and i make sure they get the coats, socks, gloves and everything they need" at least 11 shelters were open tuesday night in milwaukee

a house fire on 26th and west hope. the fire chief told fox6 the fire started in a second story bedroom... and there were no smoke alarms in the house. fortunately, everyone got out safely - with no injuries. the cause is under investigation. a sheboygan man is charged with making terrorist threats - after his online posts made people worried he was plotting a school shooting. 21-year-old joshua bagemehl bag-uh-meal was arrested just hours after buying an assault riffle on monday.on sunday-- posted on facebook quote "someone needs to do a school shooting around here. it would be funny as expletive." two days later he posted videos of his newly purchased gun. someone turned in his posts anonymously to crime stoppers. officials say bagemehl bag-uh-meal told authorities he enjoys watching violent videos, and doing so makes the urge to shoot people go away.he says the posts were done, to get "a reaction." one of the things that particularly bothered me, was his alleged comment that he like videos where he could hear the women screaming that says to me ok, were dealing with someone with

drugging and sexually assaulting andrea constand - a former temple university employee - back in 2004. 13 other women leveled similar accusations against cosby. a judge needs to decide whether their testimonies should be allowed as evidence in the trial. the hearing in pennsylvania is expected to wrap up within the next day or so. cosby, who has pleaded not guilty, is set to go on trial in june. meanwhile... court documents say the man who showed up at a d-c pizzeria with an assault rifle told his friends that people could b called raid. edgar maddison was investigating a fake news story... claiming hillary clinton and her campaign chief were running a child trafficking ring in the "comet ping pong" restaurant's back rooms. the documents say maddison texted a friend saying the raid might mean "sacrificing the lives of a few for the lives of many." maddison fired a shot in the pizzeria... but he surrendered peacefully... after he told police he couldn't find any evidence the story was true. he

carolina released this video yesterday as evidence used in the trial of dylann roof. in the videos... roof can be seen practicing firing a weapon at different targets. he also appears to point a red laser at the camera before firing the gun. the 22- year old has confessed to killng nine members of charleston's emanuel ame chruch during a bible study in 2015. roof faces 33 federal charges. prosecutors are pursuing the death penalty. ceasefire in aleppo has broken... just one day after it was announced. this comes as thousands of civilians are trying to flee parts of eastern aleppo... leaving streets completely deserted. the united nations... calling the last few days in aleppo "a complete meltdown of humanity." the u-n says more than 80 civilians were executed by government forces as they advanced on the city this week... including women and children. "we've received very worrying allegations that hundreds of men have gone missing after crossing into

the men who are all believed to be under 50 years old after they fled rebel controlled areas a week or 10 days ago." many civilians still trapped in eastern aleppo are now posting farewells to loved ones on social media. ohio governor john kasich signs one abortion bill on his desk - but vetoes the other. abortions in the state after 20 weeks... but vetoed an amendment known as the "heartbeat bill." that bill would have banned abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected - usually at six weeks. kasich is against abortion - but questioned the constitutionality of the heartbeat bill. measures similar to it that were passed in other states have twice been declared unconstitutional by federal judges. meanwhile... president obama signs the landmark "21st century cures" bill into law... giving more than six billion dollars to
