a slight chance of a few storms. tomorrow, a few chances to see widespread showers and thunderstorms and the highs in the upper-80's again. new details as police ueo tco investigate ththf o the woman's body was discovered in the 4100 block of homer wrote in -- hummer road in annandale. investigators call this case of homicide. they have not yet released the name, but sources say that the victim was a 50-year-old woman suffering trauma to her upper body. detectives have been working to route the night. currently no information, but they have been searching all night long for any clues. it all began yesterday around 4:00 p.m., when officers received a 91 call about the stabbing here at the acupuncture clinic.

anacostia metro station. an adult man was shot in head and was transported to the hospital with head injuries, life-threatening. no more information. police are investigating a traffic accident that led to the arrest of the driver. 26-year-old christopher bentley was driving a stolen vehicle when he ran through a red light at the intersection of columbia pike and walter reed drive, striking a car. the driver of the second car was taken to hospital with critical injuries. the investigation into what caused the deadly helicopter crashed in western maryland continues this morning. it went down late thursday night in washington county. we spoke with the victims and have the latest about what might have gone wrong. >> it was supposed to be a fun night, but it turned tragic. three aviation professionals
