good evening. we begin tonight with disturbing new details about michael jackson's death and his seemingly relentless use of narcotics. according to one jackson conif i didn't, the singer was looking into a drug that could bring him mortality and there's the much anticipated tocology results that is likely to be dispenned. there's no delay in the death probe. one that is increasingly probing the doctor. as chris connelly now reports. >> at 8:00 this morning investigators swarmed and entered the offices of dr. conrad murray, who was home at the time, not to arrest him, but to execute a search warrant.

they emerged with a computer. and the office was raided a few miles away. >> they'll looking for different things and seizing documents that relate directly to what the search warrant states. >> with manslaughter charge against his client potentially in the officing, dr. maury's attorney said said that they began to execute a search warrant to look for medical records relating to michael j k jackson and all of the reported alias aliases. it came hot on the heels of a report by the associated press telling the a.p. that dr. murray did inject michael jackson with the powerful fast-acting anesthetic.

"platelist". ♪ >> growing up in jasper, florida, we always went to church which i didn't mind, but i particularly loved the fact there was always food. i knew at the end of the long winded sermon, there was going to be food at the church or we're going to my grandmother's georgia or grandmother's mable's and it would be a fabulous laid out meal. fresh chicken is better if you soak it in a little salt water and then in buttermilk. we'll take our chicken. i always like to start with the dark meat first. make sure that it's not too hot because if it's too hot what will happen is it will get too brown and the inside of your chicken won't be down.

turn that over. look here. isn't that beautiful? so we've got our pan hot, add a little oil. then i'm going to add a little bit of this yellow squash. that's delicious. i'm going to add some carrots and some zucchini, a little sea salt, a little pepper and thyme and a little parsley. going to go to out plate. gorgeous. we take our fish. we're going to put that on top like that. i mean, that is absolutely delicious. i love things pretty. i was such a martha groupie when martha came out with entertainment. martha, i love you, make sure you live life pretty, pretty. we were charmed and amazed by the fact you could take whole cabbages and put them on the table. they may block your guests' view, but they were pretty.

we have about a cup of cornmeal -- make sure you some get some stone ground cornmeal. some sugar and salt. we're going to add our water and a little melted butter. we are going to take that and stir it. we'll make a cake. there it is. i'm going to take a little bit of salmon a little bit of onion, some wonderful sour cream and fresh dill, some chive and caper berries and a little bit of cavier. so here you have a wonderful, simple, traditional historic dish with a modern twist. that says delicious to me. when people say to me, art smith, this reminds me of my mother's cooking or my grandmother's cooking, hook, line, sier we have caught it, food is love.
