tropical storm. it is not a warm core system . it will get absorbed into the upper atmosphere. the beaches will get slightly affected. the maximum winds are about 35 miles per hour. it is weaker than it was yesterday. it was never a strong tropical storm and never became a hurricane. it is now a tropical depression and the national hurricane center in miami will start -- will stop monitoring this. there will hd this off to localities. there are some showers and thunderstorms ahead of the system. they could be the remnants of danny. that is not all result of danny. that will stay to our east.

to the west, we have a few showers in garrett county, maryland. for the most part, we are dry locally with the exception of far western maryland. knows the cold front to the west. this will be a key player in the latter half of our weekend. the cold front will move in later tonight and maybe trigger a brief shower later tonight. the big difference you will field with the cold front is the humidity. it will plummet, temperatures will drop into early next week and you'll actually see the sunshine. tomorrow, a return to sunshine. yesterday, we had about 3 inches of rain in fort washington. that was the bull's-eye. there were some other impressive amounts.
