>> live and in hd, this is abc 7 news at 11:00. >> tonight, u.s. officials are reportedly were preparing to issue warnings to americans traveling in europe. they believe al qaeda is targeting airports and tourist spots in europe. what's the state department is expected to issue a travel alert sunday advising u.s. citizens to be vigilant in europe. alert comes after strong concerns that they are zeroing in on targets in the continent. the terrorists are ready to strike against public places such as airports, hotels, and tourist attractions. it could happen at any time. it could be similar to the deadly 2002 attacks in mumbai, india. while officials had not identified a specific target, it is expected to be england, france, germany, and england.

three years ago. research found that a vast majority of muslims in this country consider themselves assimilated, american in their values, outlets, and out -- and ideals. they also have a very robust economic debate. they are in the professional cast and doing quite well. all the other hand, polls have shown that many americans are conflicted. half of americans polled say they have an unfavorable view of muslims. the other half say that islam is a peaceful religion. more than half say they do not know enough about muslim -- about islam. they do not know enough about the fate itself. we decided to take a look. we'll have a special program the sunday morning. after that, we will have a life facebook debate.
