>> it was a standoff that drew national headlines. and man suspected of killing his wife and daughter was found dead in a bunker today. he thought the world would end soon, so he spent years building

a doomsday bunker. >> the terrain at the foot of the casket mountains was so rough that police used helicopters to drop swat team members at the site of the underground bunker where peter keller was believed to be holed up. they broke through the roof and fired tear gas inside. then they spotted a body on the ground. >> it appeared to be dead for a long time. there is a pistol nearby and a lot of blood. >> his wife and daughter were found dead after a fire at his house. both had been shot. the family dog and cat were also found shot to death. investigators found photos on the hard drive of the computer and the murder scene that led to this heavily fortified hideaway where his truck was parked. keller spent eight years building his bunker to make sure -- building this bunker.

>> we want to make sure our technical officers were safe. >> drivers beware. more speed and red light cameras are coming to montgomery county. the county plans to add more cameras by the end of 2013. montgomery county has already deployed 22 speed cameras and 40 red light cameras. you have to start spending a little more to write the metro. the board approved tariff increases and some other changes that may upset metro customers. >> metro is running more than $100 million in the red for fiscal year 2013. it is asking passengers to cough up more cash to get it back into the black. >> i don't have a problem with it. i think it is a fair price. >> passengers pleaded with the metro board to reconsider.

>> hope was rescued from a fire at her hagerstown home last wednesday, deprived of oxygen and with no heart beat. >> she was before. not a scratch. not a red mark. you would never know that the child was in a fire. >> firefighter first discovered the girl cradled in her mother's arms and carried her to paramedics. >> i put her in my arms. >> the mother, patricia was pronounced dead at the scene. but after nearly an hour of cpr, the little girl's heart miraculously started eating again and her family had renewed hope she would survive. but today's later came the grim news. >> no blood flow to the brain. >> he made the crushing decision to take her off of life-support. kirk organs were given to two little boys who were in need.

early this morning. temperatures outside -- quantico has 54 degrees. the warm front just to the north and west of us, this will move towards the north and east. our skies will clear from west to east as high pressure builds across the mid-atlantic. once the core of the high pressure moves off the coast, it will move to the south and west. that will allow for warmer temperatures. we will see the difference big- time by tuesday. by thursday and friday, temperatures will be up to the 80's. the showers will come to an end during the early morning hours. the heaviest showers are now across opener -- across southern maryland. notice of to the west of us,
