temperatures across the board slowly falling, but should not fall much further. we have a little bit of cloud cover out there. high clouds outside at the moment. partly cloudy skies expected as a wake-up tomorrow for mother's day. dry tomorrow morning and a few showers later tomorrow afternoon. not a whole lot of cold air to the north and west of us. chicago in the upper fit -- upper 50's. high clouds in the region right now it is part of a larger system that will move through the area tomorrow night. by monday, the core of the system overhead. that means much-needed rain for the mid--- mid-to atlantic. 5 inches below average since january 1 of this year. this is what our futurecast

brunch -- >> if it's going to be fine. speaking of mother's day, we are celebrating mother's everywhere. the st. george's county police department has three reason to celebrate. there are three sets of mother daughter pairs that work for the department. tonight they show us how the job brought them closer together. >> from a little girl to almost an adult. >> she has public safety in her veins. at age 3, she attended her mom was a police graduation with a grandfather. at her own graduation she had her badge pinned on by her mom and became the first african- american mother and daughter to serve in the police department. meanwhile over in criminal investigations corporal loretta williams says she never pushed for daughter to become a cop. >> if it is not for her, that is for her and i will be proud no matter what. wyck you can see how the lessons
