there is a genuine effort going on from president karzei. on the other hand, there are a lot of things he has to do to get to where the president would want him to be. >> let's talk about ron paul. he is still in the running. he won minnesota. it is not over until it's over, but how do you make sense of this? >> he announced last week that he was going to stop committing resources to states that had not held their primaries. but to not fully pullout of the campaign. this is a controversial thing for the ron paul supporters, who feel like they still have an effort underway and they do not want to give up. they are trying what they can do to keep winning delegates, to have more of a show of force. what we saw this week, just today, they have won delegates

in minnesota. picking up delegates were they were not expected to, and they are going forward, whether or not ron paul is fully committed. >> all right, it interesting tactic. the bain attack ads. it seems like this is having more repercussions than good, though. >> "the new york times" got its hands on a proposal for an advertising campaign that would have been pretty rough taking the rev. of the church still bombs went to in chicago -- taking the rev. of the church that the obamas went to in chicago. the proposal was to take him and make him a central part of the 2012 campaign. that is something that the obama

gaithersburg 68 for hagerstown. 68 degrees -- temperatures up and down the east coast, milder temperatures across michigan, indiana, illinois ohio. this is all ahead of a cold front. our concern though, an area of low pressure just off the coast. that is why we have the showers developing off the peninsula crossing the chesapeake bay, and moving into our area for the overnight hours. the showers, and unfortunate will stick around until tuesday. a few remaining showers wednesday and thursday. after that, we will look for a big warm up. this weekend -- we have been talking about tropical storm alberto. maximum winds are 40 miles per hour. it has lost a little bit of steam. over the next 48 hours it goes
