specific new benefits than what we see when he speaks at campaign events for his campaign or the five cows is speaking to white audiences. to them, he is touted as a middle-class savior and a benefit to all people as opposed to specific things that people will get under the health care act. >> thank you. >> a government mandate that requires insurance companies to cover contraception goes into effect this week the department of health and human services requires it by august 1. members of a catholic church in hancock, md. are walking 100 miles to the baltimore basilica in protest. >> gov. martin o'malley has called a special session. the topic will be whether to expand gambling in maryland, specifically by putting up a casino in prince george's

county. governor o'malley says that putting a casino in national harbour could give the state an additional $100 million in tax revenue. >> the future of gambling in maryland will once again be considered by state lawmakers. today, the governor announced the special session will take place next month to determine if gambling should be expanded. >> it is time to create the thousands of needed jobs. it is time to maximize funding from gaming for maryland public education. there is no progress without jobs. >> at issue is whether table games like blackjack will be allowed. lawmakers also consider putting up a sixth casino and maryland. >> you're talking about $69 million a year in additional revenue coming to prince george's county at a time when we just closed a $126 million budget benefit. >> there is still opposition. >> within 20 miles of any casino, when they open, the compulsive gambling rate skyrocket. we expect that to be true and we think prince george's county can

can see when the power will be back on. 90 degrees was the 34th time this year that we hit 90 degrees or better at reagan national. the average for this date is a couple of degrees cooler. 104 degrees is the record set last year. temperature outside at the airport is 79 degrees with wind out of the south at 5 m.p.h. upper west d.c. is 72 degrees. our dewpoint lovebirds -- our dewpoint levels were little bit lower. temperatures outside are in a bit cooler. winchester martinsburg, they are in the mid-to-upper-60's. really cool air, drier air of to the north and west of us. we will see love it that a difference for the day tomorrow. we will start out with lots of

sunshine. right now, our skies are clear. but clouds will increase through the late afternoon hours. by tuesday we could be looking at quite a bit of rain especially to the west. the doppler radar is quite and dry. but there had been talk of showers across southern maryland. the futurecast shows a break from the clouds and then they pull in during the day tomorrow. temperatures around 85 degrees to 90 degrees. it may seem a couple of degrees warmer if we see more sunshine during the morning hours. but on tuesday, look for widespread showers and embedded thunderstorms. the temperatures will be the coolest of the next seven days only make it a -- only making it into the mid-80's. as we move through the day tomorrow starting out with a good deal of sunshine. clouds increased during the afternoon cared so grab your umbrella for elite -- for a late

taken to a landfill in virginia. this is according to a congressional investigation. >> it caused some shock and outrage from family members. now the county board of supervisors has decided to put a memorial plaque at that landfill to honor the fallen. but not everyone agrees that it is the honorable thing to do. >> to honor respect and in memory of those american service members -- >> this is the black to honor the fallen soldiers whose cremated remains are somewhere in the king george's county led filth and the air force says that the remains were fragments of body parts that could not initially be identified or recovered. some kings george residents say that placing a plaque at a land follow -- at a landfill is disrespectful and should be put
