last night, paul mccartney was here. he played a big show in front of at least 10,000 fans outside. [ cheers and applause ] and tonight, tonight, justin timberlake is live. [ cheers and applause ] and then, tomorrow america votes and one will be eliminated from music. that, by the way, just look at that crowd all the way back to -- to like -- west hollywood i think. they gathered for justin timberlake. very popular. remind me a lot of myself at that age. so much talent. i was told that justin is a bit under the weather right now. his publicist said justin is sick. i was like, yeah, i feel you, justin is totally sick, yo. and then he explained he has a fever and he was being -- so the question is this. who here would like to catch a cold from justin timberlake? [ cheers and applause ] a lot of guys applauding.

some people in hollywood in our neighborhood are upset we closed the street down for two nights. not too many. most people are happy. but, we put on two free concerts with paul mccartney and justin timberlake. always a few crab apples in the bucket. our local nbc news channel, knbc, for instance, they went out of their way yesterday to find people on the street who are upset. and, well here is just a taste of the hardship we have been putting people through. >> when paul mccartney puts on a hollywood show for those inside the barricade, a traffic mess for those outside. is it inconvenient for you in any way? >> yes it will be. this morning. i need to walk with my bike. >> the performance creating chaos. >> nightmare traffic. >> jamie owens had to walk several blocks with an injured shoulder. >> it's terrible. >> maybe i am amazed at how bad the traffic is. >> a real mess for drivers around highland/orange. >> this is ridiculous what they are doing downtown hollywood. >> it will be chaos. around this area. >> my wife was in the area, i saw nothing but eye rolling going on.

school where you read it? >> i was reading it in school while i was filming the movie. >> jimmy: really. they still made you read the book? >> i did really well. >> jimmy: i would think you would know it back and forth. >> i do, yeah. >> jimmy: probably not too many people in the world have that experience. >> a lot of my friends are asking me when the movie comes out so they don't have to read it. >> jimmy: yeah, yeah. are you enjoying this? do you think something, acting you will want to continue doing for well into your adulthood? >> yeah. i really, i am enjoying everything. i have been given so many incredible opportunity. i think what i love about it so much is, i am always doing something different and learning something new. >> jimmy: you got to go to italy to shoot the movie? >> yes. >> jimmy: did the family go with you? >> my mom came with me. the whole time. my dad and brother came to visit. my grandparents came to visit. >> jimmy: nice. >> yeah, we took a day trip up to verona, which they filmed part of the film in.

and we went to juliet's balcony, a really big tourist attraction there. are are people from all over. my mom has this genius idea of going of on the balcony. take a picture. >> jimmy: you are juliet. you have to. your balcony. >> i go up on the balcony. i look down and i see my grandparents who are, i love them, they're so proud, and they, they do this thing where they tell everybody why we're there and what we are doing an all this information. >> jimmy: my grand daughter is juliet. >> yep. so i, i am on the balcony and see my grandfather doing the whole, i am like, yeah. then going down was a thing the how am i going to do this. >> jimmy: thanks, grandma, grandpa. you know at a certain point, people when they reach a certain age their goal is to embarrass you. >> i am finding that out.
