james mcgill was about to get a once-in-a-lifetime call through dispatch. tried to kiss her that she does not know. saide voice, a 12-year-old she had been taking on a .ightmare ride she said she had been taken off the street by a stranger. touched herhis man inappropriately before she calling 911e free, in tears. >> you don't know where he was? >> no. >> you are safe now. ok? mcgill was the soothing voice trying to calm the little girl and coax her location out of the confusion and shock so he could send help. >> until she sees a police officer or someone in a uniform, she does not feel safe. he got officers to the

neighborhood in less than three minutes as the victim talked about what happened. littlenow know the brave girl eventually led them not only to the car but also identified salisbury as the suspect. >> i thought about it all day. i kept on calling some of the officers to see if there were developments and later that night when i found out they had taken the person into custody, it was a sigh of relief. >> we're hearing from the daughter of a business owner who was killed during the july 4 robbery. the daughter of james said the outpouring of support has been incredibly remarkable. this comes as police search for the man behind the deadly robbery. surveillance video shows the man on colorado market avenue and stealing thousands of dollars. they then hit james and his wife. oh later died.

the 70's. and youes, downtown, walk outside you feel that humidity. it feels so heavy, the air. dew point temperatures in the 60's and 70's. by the middle of the week, the upper 40's and 50's. sounds good. it is going to be delightful. some comfortable error, but we have to deal with the heat and humidity before that. least a nice breeze helping to blow some of the air around. a strong cold front approaching. you can see it over the great lakes pushing through northern illinois. the front continuing to get a little bit closer as we continue through the next several days. tomorrow, a few storms possible as we climb into the 90's. still looking quiet. futurecast, tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m., maybe a few clouds.
