door lubitz accelerated the jetliner several times to keep it diving towards the french alps. in the debris field, 42 cell phones have been recovered, sent to a paris lab for investigation. they are severely damaged, but could contain text messages, final words to loved ones possible video from inside the cabin. at the scene the french interior minister laid flowers at the site where 150 people were killed. with the additional evidence of ways to commit suicide and mental issues, there is a clear picture of what happened with the germanwings flight. the question continues to be why. david curley, abc news. kimberly: sarah brady, the wife of former white house a contrary jim brady has died. she had been battling pneumonia.

brady was a prominent gun-control advocate after her husband was shot during the assassination attempt of president ronald reagan. james brady died in august. his death was ruled a homicide since it was directly related to his injuries from that shooting. a victory for opponents of pop up -- in the district. these are for residential zones including capitol hill, shawl and columbia heights. the commission voted to allow pop-up condos. one of the units must be reserved for residents earning less than 80% of the city's median income. mayor muriel bowser unveiled her budget including spending increases and cuts. there will ultimately be winners and losers. sam: muriel bowser said hello to

kimberly: relieved to hear that easter sunday will be a beauty. eileen: it will be nice, the current temperatures right now in d.c., 52 degrees.

it's not bad, but the temperatures will fall into -- well, right around 40 degrees in d.c. in the 30's in the suburbs. clear skies right now, the wind northwest at five, much different than the gusty wind we had earlier today. some spots have gone calm -- frederick, gaithersburg, manassas, allowing temperatures to drop faster. 37 degrees called, 36 manassas, 41 right now gaithersburg and winchester. the temperatures, not too bad seasonal for this time of year. it's a lot different than it was at this time last night. the cold front slid through, but the cool air did not really get here until early this morning. as of right now 20 degrees colder right now than this time yesterday, and that trend is up and down the east coast. tomorrow the wind is lighter,

also out of the southwest as opposed to the northwest. we will get that shift in wind helping change temperatures. today we had the northwesterly gusty wind, but with the high moving further east, you get the southerly wind and that will really help warm temperatures tomorrow, even more so monday. 40 degrees overnight in the city, the suburbs a little colder. keep that in mind for early church services. otherwise, lots of sunshine. 62 degrees by 2 p.m., 5 p.m. 64. whatever you are doing for the holiday, it will be really nice. then, looking ahead to monday for the nats home opener, about 69 degrees. if you are heading out to the game, it should be really nice with the temperatures in the mid to upper 60's. a little breezy, the wind out of the southwest at 10 to 15, but if you're heading out, short sleeves, shorts are probably ok. bring a light sweater, that is my beloved thumb, regardless.
