and wine prices in the months ahead. proving california's drought could be america's difficulty in the long run. there's a glimmer of hope in the forecast. there is some rain. so paula and dan, we're praying on this easter sunday for something short of a biblical downpour. rob, of course, coming up with the forecast later on on what to expect. >> that might be a miracle, right? thank you, kendis. no running water for ten months? something you don't see since the early 20th century. >> hard to believe it's happening in america right now. >> it is happening. we want to turn to ron with an update on the tragedy in the french alps. we're going to begin with the latest on the airline crash in the alps. the search for victims at the site of the germanwings crash has officially ended. investigators say they have recovered remains of all 150 people on board the flight and collected all the main evidence. french officials say dna analysis of the remains, as well

as the search for the victims' belongings, will continue. the copilot, andreas lubitz is believed to have deliberately crashed the plane into the mountainside. fidel castro has made an appearance. the pictures published by the official cuban newspaper show castro sitting in a van, wearing a baseball cap and a track suit. shaking hands with visitors. the snapshots were taken two weeks ago. this is the first time in 14 months that the 88-year-old former cuban leader has been seen in public. and a big texas grocery chain is pulling all blue bell ice cream products off the shelf. grocery giant heb announcing it will no longer sell the products because of a listeria outbreak. they've shut down a manufacturing plant in oklahoma. blue bell has recalled several products after the food-borne illness has caused three deaths.

the astros will not sell blue bell ice cream on opening day. and later today, columbia university will release its much anticipated debut of the now debunked virginia gang rape article. they'll be addressing professional ethics raised by the story and the report of course the story. the magazine which commissioned the review but retracted the story, but only after it was published when discrepancies surfaced. the charlottesville police say they found no evidence that woman was raped at a fraternity party. flamed ripped through this new jersey home on saturday afternoon, the walls of this house completely buckling. the firefighters worked outside the home to control the blaze. the family, fortunately, was not home at the time. and finally, easter and passover treats and games are not just for kids anymore. take a look. across the country, boys and girls are on the hunt for easter eggs.

more than a month ago while home for spring break. recently, police starting a new search, in a pochbd 40 miles outside of the college freshman's hometown of norfolk. >> yesterday afternoon, they went down into the ditches. went all around the pond, looking and searching. >> reporter: the family is frustrated with the investigation and is pushing police to investigate people they believe are potential suspects. >> i wish they would give us more insight into what they're actually doing. because to us, it seems like they're doing nothing. >> reporter: a.j.'s father, now behind bars, after he was arrested for breaking into a home two weeks ago. where according to his mother, he was following a tip that a.j. had been seen. police charged him with possession of ammunition by a felon, obstructing justice, and breaking and entering. >> as any father would, if you hear that your daughter may be in a house or being held or some of her belongings are at a location, any father is going to try to find out. >> reporter: the morning after

money has been frozen. rebecca jarvis is on the story. >> reporter: for the nearly 17 million americans who don't have bank accounts, prepaid debit cards can be an easy way to get your refund. >> you activate them. and direct the internal revenue service to actually send your deposit specifically to this prepaid card. >> reporter: but we found numerous complaints against green dot. with those unhappy consumers saying it takes too long to access the money on their cards. >> i was expecting this money and had plans to pay my bills. >> reporter: heather riddle, a single mom, was shocked when she received an e-mail that said her green dot card was frozen. >> i had to borrow money from my mother just to feed my children. and this was my money. >> reporter: heather says it took her nearly a week to access the money, after she verified her identity a step she says

she already did when she signed up for the card. "gma investigates" shared these consumers' concerns with the better business bureau. which said it has found similar consumer complaints and confirms to abc news it is now launches its own investigation into dot, removing green dot's rating until the inquiry is complete. green dot telling us the vast majority of refunds deposited into green dot cards are immediately. and for the 10% held for verification, they say we believe our customers underthat we're doing the right things to protect them and our nation's tax system from fraud. >> they freeze money for a little bit in order to make sure that it's not the wrong person. unfortunately, often times, the right person has become the wrong person. >> reporter: experts say taxpayers should use the card before the refund is transferred. >> do a couple transactions with the card just so we get
