speaking with the media. tom: a muslim student group was a no-show for scheduled press conference. a council on american islamic relations representative would not say who pressure the group not to speak. she did say why the group was concerned about the movie coming to campus. some believe parts of it inspire hatred. >> the concern is to counteract people who may be backlash inspired against the film. tom: one of maryland's most famous grads, former nfl quarterback boomer esiason, said he was never donating another dime to the university. and a former marine is upset as well. students are upset they will not be up to see the oscar-nominated film on campus. >> i love the movie, i love the concept, i love this country and the fact they will not show

it is upsetting. he is one of the great american heroes of our time. tom: tom roussey, abc 7 news. kellye: a woman fighting a parking ticket after her car became trapped at the scene of a crime. she was out at dinner the night of april 9, when a man shot and killed a guard at the u.s. census bureau in suitland. her car was in an area that was roped off for hours by the police. when the suspect was captured after a shootout in northwest washington. when she returned the next morning to get her car, she found a ticket for an expired meter. >> i cannot get my car or possessions. and they have the nerve to give me a ticket? they should be sending me a letter of apology. kellye: she is in the process of getting the ticket nullified. a major effort to improve driving conditions in the district gets underway. ddot has begun working on traffic signals at over 600

knocking, people don't usually roll out the welcome mat. but we got close to everything he considers voluble. we are curious if your salsa security number is [beep]. >> yeah, it is. joce: we found all his sensitive information. same with this woman, janice. the i-team uncovered the identities of thousands of people, even a handful of big names. stars like ashton kutcher, a former senator, even ferguson police officer darren wilson. the i-team found their social security numbers, credit cards even pin numbers, post it where anyone could find it. i did not have to pay for this or search for it. how do you react? >> that's scary.

joce: 40 million cards compromised. we all knew that data breaches happen. what we did not know is hackers selling information post bits and pieces in public. >> they anonymously but quickly verify they have stolen a set of data. joce: free samples are all that a scammer needs to steal your identity. in december, stevens information was used to get comcast service for this house 500 miles away in michigan. but catching the people who steal the personal information is tough. it is illegal to post a, and sites will remove it when requested, but jim jones with george mason university said shutting down the site does nothing more than set up a high tech game of website why come ack-a-mole. >> it's probably all over the internet.
