someone just got bit. >> reporter: on thursday 30 miles away a shark attacking a young girl. taking frisbee-sized bites out of her boogie board. this is only the second time that multiple attacks have happened in the same place in the past 40 years. and while experts tell us these sharks have probably moved on officials here are not taking chances. they're advising people to stay out of that water. ebb know the beaches are technically open. george? >> can't blame them for that. okay matt, thank you. to the major storm brewing in the gulf that could become the second named storm of the season. that means heavy rain and wind. to cities already hit hard by flooding. >> at this point, it's a low pressure system. as it come together the national hurricane center gives it an 80% chance of becoming a tropical storm. it would be bill if it does. they rotate counterclockwise. i think east texas, houston will

you dallas missouri into arkansas lrks get some of the heaviest rain. flash flooding is the major threat. through wednesday/thursday. we saw quite a bit of rain t in pittsburgh pennsylvania. look at this video from illinois over the weekend. inches, i mean up to a half foot of rain in southern and central illinois. more than daunz states now with flash flood watches or warnings. look at the swath, five to seven inches possible. i'll have so much more coming up not only on the tropical potential but on severe storms. >> thank you ginger. now the latest on the prison break. those escaped killers on the run for ten days. this morning, we're learning more about the prison worker accused of helping them. joyce mitchell is behind bars and due in court this morning. >> reporter: good morning to you, amy. this is where joyce mitchell will face a judge this morning, after spending the weekend in

jail. investigators saying those escaped prisoners could now be anywhere. this morning, we are learning more about the woman accused of helping two prisoners escape. sitting behind bars 15 miles from the prison where she worked. 51-year-old joyce mitchell now charged with smuggling contraband into the prison and stands accused of offering to drive the getaway car. investigators suggesting she may have had a relationship with david sweat. >> whatever he was doing, he was paying attention to her, being nice to her, talking to her. >> reporter: we're learning the details of a plan said to be five months in the making. sources say mitchell smuggled things into the jail last fall. sweat and matt allegedly practicing their escape before june 6th. the alleged plan for joyce mitchell to meet them at this power plant just plox from the prison. the two men would climb out of a

manhole midway between the location. the three would start a seven-hour drive from the prison on the a wooded area. mitch never showed. instead, checking herself into a hospital complaining of a panic attack. >> she realized what this was going to do to her family. she loved her husband, lyle and she did not want to leave him in the end. >> reporter: meanwhile, this morning, officials revealing that a home was broken into near the prison leading police to amp up searches of the area. >> we don't know if they're still in the immediate area or if they're in mexico by now. >> reporter: the convicts have been missing for ten days now. police are still following all leads to find them. and new york governor andrew cuomo is calling for a fornal investigation. as the search goes on for those two men, he wants investigators to focus on how this happened in the first place. it's a big week in the race

have a right of self-defense right. i'm allowed, i could swat it if someone starts saying i'm going to send that drone towards you then i can swat it. that's not what happened on the video. as practical matter everyone has a reasonable expectation of privacy in their home. that's the law today. that will be the law tomorrow. the drone laws are way behind in terms of how do you define snit certain states are now coming up and saying for example, in oregon, if you say there's a drone over my house, tell the person you report it. you say, sir, i don't want that drone over my house again and they do it again you then sue them. in texas, it's a criminal law against it. these laws are very much behind the game. >> and they very rayary state to state. >> anything over 400 feet or 500 feet, the faa will restrict because of airplanes.
