water. those wildfires are scorching hundreds of acres out west. clayton sandell starts us out on the scene of serious flooding in hunt county texas. good morning, clayton. >> reporter: good morning to you, robin. this river is so far out of its banks that this road has completely vanished underwater. another 80 feet disappeared overnight. the water is still getting higher. heavy rains are wreaking havoc on the texas infrastructure this morning. bridges and roads collapsing. >> it's gone. >> reporter: drivers near dallas coming noto a crawl in the down pour. parts of route 75 completely underwater. days of intense rain leading to this. >> watch the road. watch the road. >> reporter: this road between oklahoma and texas crumbling. in north texas, that bridge completely washed out.

like fire again grew overnight. crews dealing with hotter than normal temperatures. with no rain in sight, this fire is far from over. the largest fire in the state still growing. now topping 17,000 acres. it may be moving away from big bear. it's six miles from the city. too close and too hot. charles wilson drove 70 miles to pick up his daughter and get her out of harm's way. >> we decided to get her and get her home and safe. >> reporter: the blaze 19% contained. it's far from under control. >> they're still very much battling the topography and the steep terrain. >> reporter: those firefighters not in the wilderness are sleeping in these tents. more are coming every day. fire officials have to manage this. we have three other fires burning in the state. three homes lost bringing the total fire acreage closer to 20,000 throughout the state. and it's not just california.

the movie, it pays homage to menace to society or juice. it's like a high school comedy in some ways as well. how would you define the genre of the movie? >> nothing that's ever been done before that's why it's so great. it's dope. >> boom, boom, boom, boom. >> reporter: while the three main cast members are still up and coming, the star power behind the scenes is strong with forest whitaker and far rel willpharrell williams a williams as producers. >> you can trust them to make the right decisions. >> you were all on the sound track, right? >> yes. >> pharrell cure rates the sound track. what is it like to work with a guy like that? >> i think for all of us it was kind of surreal. it was like a dream come true.
