came from one of the elderly victims. it was an attempted armed robbery in the middle of the day in gaithersburg. >> tell me exactly what happened. >> a guy came to the door, shot -- shot through the glass door. i went to run out the back of the office, he shot me in the hand and leg. i don't know if he is still in the building or not. hurry up and get somebody here. jay: a surveillance camera spotted the suspect sprinting away from the crime scene. moments later, metro cameras also captured features of the suspects. the police say the man on the left was the shooter. noris is in custody but has not faced trial because of mental competency issues. the man on the right was captured and convicted, along with his uncle. according to prosecutors, the three were involved in robbing this business of $37,000 last angust with the help of employee.

17-year-old jajuan mccrae spent the summer with his grandmother in north carolina. days after he arrived back home, he was shot and killed. his family shared cheers from the candlelight vigil last night. >> pretty horrible thing, considering how young he was. in ther: neighbors tightknit townhome community were rattled by the shocking eruption of violence friday night. ally children play there the time. they were just there before the incident. jennifer: another teenager, jr.,ar-old chet jarrett was allegedly responsible. they say that jarrett pulled out the gun, fired, and ran off. rescue members made every effort to try to save mccrae.
