tapes, watch a fully formed fetus on the table. its heart beating, its legs kicking. while someone says we have to keep it alive to harvest its brain. this is about the character of our nation. and if we will not stand up and force president obama to veto this bill, shame on us. >> the undercover videos associated with the investigation do not depict what fiorina described. a statement from planned parenthood calls her comments deceptive and said a letter was sent to fiorina asking her to stop making false statements about the organization. meanwhile hillary clinton isn't saying whether she saw the video but she dismissed fiorina's remarks and much of the debate. >> lots of bickering, lots of personal, you know, insults, attacks. all kinds of claims without any basis. that's what it will be. it might be entertaining for some. but it's not going to be good for america.

>> clinton added she hopes the republicans wouldn't jeopardize the economy for what she calls an emotionally politically charged partisan attack. other news, frantic preparations under way in washington, new york and philadelphia ahead of next week's papal visit. the pope has already delivered a message to cuba which he plans to visit first. in the video, he thanked cubans for praying ahead of his visit. he arrives tomorrow and will hold mass on sunday at the plaza of the revolution. he arrives in the u.s. on tuesday. croatia is in the middle of europe's refugee crisis. thousands ofmy grans from asia and the middle east are trying to move through as they make their way to western europe. officials say they might close their borders because their country can't deal with the influx of people. abc's mary bruce is there. >> reporter: dreams shattered at the border. frustrated, exhausted and angry, desperate refugees broke down the gate trying to force their

increasingly dramatic in europe. back here at home, a friend of the accused charleston church shooter has been arrested by the fbi. authorities have been investigating joey meeks since the june shooting for allegedly knowing about the attack and not informing the authorities. dylan roof who is charged with killing nine black people, roof stayed with meek days before the deadly attack. testimony resumes today at a military hearing to determine if sergeant bowe bergdahl should face court-martial. bergdahl's commanders in afghanistan testified yesterday about the hardships hair men faced during their certainly for bergdahl. he spent five years as a taliban captive before being freed in a prisoner exchange last year. bergdahl is charged with deserting his unit and other counts. bergdahl's attorneys will present their evidence and call witnesses today. it's unclear if bergdahl will testify. in the meantime, the chicago blackhawks star patrick kaine is speaking out for the first time since becoming the subject of a sexual assault investigation.
