we understand the employers here managedwould pay city funds on a per employee basis. only to the co-author of the bill but the head of d.c.'s chamber. they have different views on what the bill would do. the think it is good for city and good for businesses. it will make them more competitive. able a live -- enable them to offer benefits supported by the government. we really respect families and strong families. classic puts us at a competitive disadvantage in the region. it is easy for businesses to move. supportsess community happy workers. they should be able to take care of themselves and their families. there you hear from the ceo of the chamber of commerce who says more needs to be done and they are not happy with the way this is currently written out. they expect to have a lot of discussion and there will be a number of council meetings where the issue will be taken up.

reporting live, brianne carter, abc 7 news. a gun store that sells high-powered weapons here at an elementary school. than 2000 people have already signed an online petition to get rid of the new nova firearms store location here in mclean, virginia. because of the location right behind this elementary school. about twoonly opened weeks ago, but parents with students at the nearby sherman elementary school say that it sends the wrong message. want to be place i is between a gun owner and the second amendment but the first place i want to be is between someone who wants to hurt my children or the children at the school. sam: the store move from its location just a few miles away. , it isision to move here

community college of philadelphia is sheltering in place following reports of a gun. philadelphia police chief says this is not related to yesterday's morning about a social media threat to colleges and universities in the area. officials gave the all clear for that this morning. now, the rain has stopped but the danger is far from over in south carolina. the record-breaking rainfall is being blamed on at least 13 deaths in north and south carolina. been breachedady or already failed. live in south carolina with continuing threats to the area this noon. >> you can see behind me, this is what people are still dealing with. some of the cleanup has begun, but we are talking about cars and businesses still underwater. water can still be moving

jummy: an update to a story we brought you earlier this noon. police arrested a 17-year-old believed to put -- to have pulled a gun on a student outside a community college in philadelphia. was hurt but the incident caused a campus lockdown at a large police response. a 17-year-old suspect is now in custody. a man fights for his life in a home invasion and it was all caught on surveillance camera. take a look. it happened in the garage at a home in san francisco. this video shows the homeowner in the white jacket bringing in trash cans when he is suddenly rushed by a man in a gray jacket. the suspect has a gun but the homeowner tries to wrestle for it.
