any doubt in your mind? >> after wednesday, when you look in his eyes, there's a different guy in there. he's unbelievable. he told me, coach, i'm ready. i was scared he was trying to be ready and he was not, but let me tell you something, i'm glad he's on my team. >> heather: and your quarterback was great, as well, tonight. what gave you the confidence in everett golson to open up the play book for him? >> it's been evolving, trying to understand how we call the game. he still has a long ways to go. a lot of things we left on the field. but he is understands what the system is and how we play and he's doing a great job of managing the game. now he's making the big plays. >> heather: coach, big win over miami. going to talk to your super star, dalvin. congratulations on an exceptional performance. and like coach said, we didn't know whether or not you were going to play. at what point did you know that you'd be able to do what you did tonight? >> up and down all week and the trainers got me ready. they did a great job doing that. it was a last minute thing.

prepare for a chilly sunday. some areas could see temperatures in the 30's. the news start now. anchor: rescue crews rushing to save a man buried up to his trend collapse. the man was digging a water line when the club's took place in columbia. tom roussey has details. a very dramatic rescue here in columbia tonight. according to -- james landolina was digging a line for plumbers. all of a sudden, dirt, hundreds of pounds, collapsed onto the father. the fireumped in and department came and did the rescue. images from after they got here. how would fire and rescue tell

me james landolina was in there for almost an hour. they said they had to be careful to shore up so the dirt did not collapse again. they were finally able to get james landolina out. we spoke to his son, nick, and he said it was a very dicey and terrifying situation. hethe amount of dirt on him, would not have been able to breathe. god honest truth -- only thing i could do was jump in to save him. we got him out to about chest level, so he can release a breeze. got that far,e we the paramedics and fire department showed up and took over. they did what they are trained to do and did an awesome job. tom: you can hear the motion in nick's voice that his father survived. he said his dad has to get a lot he knows,t as far as
