now, a massive search for the suspect in a violent sexual assault in the district. we have a warning for anyone that uses a ridesharing service. all this after a woman was attacked over the weekend after getting into what she thought was an uber car. >> the search is on this afternoon for the person that attacked this woman.

a simple mistake resulted in her being sexually assaulted by a knife wielding man. driving up and down the street looking for this attacker. it happened a long macomb street of wisconsin avenue between 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 in the morning. a woman got into a silver sedan she mistook as an uber. the man inside took out a knife and sexually assaulted her. the woman was able to get away. all we know is the man is described as middle eastern, in his early 30's, with black, curly hair. >> usually, when i take one, i make sure the license plate matches the one on my app. >> uber tells you the type of car in the license number. you are supposed to watch out for that so you don't get into the wrong car. said, timeice have

there were technical difficulties. a nationwide computer problem delayed more than 350 flights sunday. the airline could not check in thousands of passengers. overnight, they want customers to get to the airport two hours ahead of their flight. around 8:00 this morning, the airline said it systems were fully functional and apologized. while southwest says their computer system is back up to speed, they say you should allow some time as they allow their system to get up and running and fully functioning. jummy: an investigation is underway right now into an engine fire on elysian airlines. the planes right engine caught its way from las vegas to fresno, california. -- captain then avoid aborted takeoff.

passengers were bused back to the terminal and put on other flights. authorities are working to figure out what caused a house fire in prince george's county this morning. ofs is the 2000 block hamilton road in riverdale. you can see smoke billowing from the roof. no word on any injuries this noon. crews are working to fix a water main break in montgomery county. it broke near belmont elementary school in olney. school canceled classes because of it. said the break also left about 51 customers without service. we will keep you updated on that one. east-west highway in bethesda is back open this new after a crash brought down a utility pole and wires. petco was on the scene all morning long. a construction vehicle was paving the area when the truck

in here on. john gonzalez just spoke with the editor in northwest d.c. ofn: the news ticker outside the washington post building says that he has been isolated for 14 months. confirmedudiciary that he had been convicted. casee latest step in the when the announcement came on tv that he had been found guilty. lawyerher, his wife, his went to court to ask for an explanation, information, and they were simply turned away. the state department continues to call for all charges against jason to be dropped. his family was unable to communicate with him. >> unfortunately, he's been in prison the last year. he and his wife. he began working as a correspondent in tehran in 2012.
