red and black purse. why police believe this might not be the suspect's first time peeping. well, police are investigating not one but two brazen armed robbery in the city of alexandria today. they happened less than an hour apart on south patrick and king street. they report that one of them forced the school to keep students locked in. >> the two robberies in alexandria about noon today. a couple of miles apart sparked fear in this city. especially to nearby schools. t.c. williams and howard campus of t.c. williams where they were locked in. the two robberies could be related according to police because the m.o.'s are similar. two individuals at the handgun. at the verizon store they made off with a cell phone. at a gas station in old town they made off with cash. >> you don't expect that. you don't see it here a lot. like at all, actually. when the second one hit, i was crazy.

outside the united house of prayer main church. they call it the mother church. sometimes they call it white house. they sent a letter to the city about an idea that the city is floating to turn what is now a street parking along sixth street. next to the church. and into a bicycle lane. that would mean the church who has a cafeteria here would lose park spaces for both activity. the church level said the bicyclist have been in d.c. without any protected law and without infringing on the right of the united house of prayers religious right. it is difficult to squeeze in another amenity. but it would be the right place to put it in the

we have traffic in one direction. for those of bethesda, we have major backup happening this hour. we are just getting in the thick of things for rush hour. the crews are working all afternoon past the intersection of creed dar lane. crews repaired the broken pike this afternoon. the water has been restored to all of those customers. if you are one of those that is impacted by the water outage the officials say it's normal to experience discolor waterfall in break. run water through the taps to allow the water and slush out of there as well.
