over a reclining seat, a woman reported she was choked by the man behind her apparently after putting her seat back. >> the lady who got you know hit was talking about. she hit n me in my head and choked me and she was really emotional. >> reporter: the jet returned to l.a.x. police and the fbi were there and the man walked off the plane and was taken into custody with officers talking to the alleged victim. >> yeah. you're going to regret that. >> what do i do? i'm going to stay here all night? >>. >> reporter: we've seen reclining seats become an issue in the past. the passengers last year got kicked off a united flight after fighting over use of a so-called knee defender that keeps the seat in front from being reclined. the man in this case as questioned and released. the fbi said there was no arrest or charges at this time. the passengers did get to san francisco on another plane. five hours late. lauren lyster, abc news,

los angeles. reena, kendis, ba can to you. >> thanks to lauren there in l. afghanistan. a scary scene on a school bus in washington state caught on camera. dozens of kids on board when a heater hose ruptured in the back of the bus. you see it there and started leaking anti-freeze after all of this happened, some of the kids had stomach and headaches as well as burning eyes. the parents also claimed their children weren't checked at the school. the school district says none of the kids were sprayed and that the bus has been inspected every summer before the school year gets under way. and this tragic scene in houston at a grocery store. a young mother died while protecting her child when a car smashed into the store. six people were also injured. police say the elderly driver was pulling ot of a parking spot when she hit the reverse and raced backward into that market. lawsuits from vehicle owners stemming in volkswagen's emission scandal are stacking up. more than 200 suits have been
