from abc 7 news, this is a breaking news alert. two people are dead after a car crashes into a home in alexandria. block: this is the 6800 of smith way drive. tom roussey is on the scene. according to witnesses, this car was flying around the lost control,ver slimming into the home on smith way drive. adult males died, one of the scene, one later pronounced dead at the hospital. here is video from shortly after arriving on the scene. this happened at about 8:00 tonight. if there is any good news, it is the family that lives here was not home. they had gone to church about 20 minutes before this happened. we talked with one man who said his girlfriend was driving the other way on the road, the car nearly hit them, they eventually

turned around, relies the big accident, so the man we talked to said he ran to the car and try to help the two people inside. he said one man was already dead, he could tell, but he tried to help the other. >> and i broke the window, the passenger side window. his leg was torn on the side. i grabbed him and i was like, wake up, man, come on. i had his head in my hand, and that is when he started breathing again. pulling him out, saying, let's do this, let's do this. that iran, the man was trying to help was later pronounced dead at the hospital. willax county firefighters be spending a lot of time, trying to shore up the support on the house. towedally the car will be away, but i have to make sure it is safe to do so before that

at a d.c. hospital, putting nurses under the microscope. the pain and anxiety medications disappeared from a distribution machine at sibley memorial over the summer. we now know that for nurses are under investigation, two others have had their licenses suspended. a forceful arrest has put police practices in the spotlight, caught on tape, showing the strobl -- showing the struggle with the suspect, kicked in the face and punched while he was on the ground. jay korff has the details about the circumstances and how the police are responding. leon, the investigation has been launched to determine if the officers did right or wrong. check it out. >> ok, buddy. jay: cell phone video shows the suspect acting odd in northeast d.c.
