miles. russian investigators looking at the wreckage. few answers. the metro jet flight took off just before 6:00 a.m. on saturday, from sharm el sheik. slimie i climbing to 31,000 feet, then disappeared from radar. >> looking at the tail section is very telling. if it came off first, was it a bomb or structural failure? >> reporter: isis quickly claiming responsibility, but some doubt.

today, the ex-wife of the pilot said he had repeatedly complained about the state of the plane. russia declared today a national day of mourning. you lose your kids, this grieving mother said, life is finished. those black boxes will be taken back to moscow to try to unlock the mystery. in the meantime, four major airlines say they will not fly over the sinai peninsula until more is known. >> steve ganyard, could this have been a bomb? >> a bomb could be one of the causes. the problem is, the claims from

rifle. taking the lives of three people, apparently chosen at random. here's kayna whitworth. >> reporter: tonight, residents of colorado springs on edge. >> shots fired. possible shooting. >> reporter: early saturday morning, routines brought to a deadly halt. a man shot riding his bike. this woman says she was just feet from the shooter and saw it happen. >> he looked right at me. i was like, okay, starting walking away. >> reporter: this man woke up, called police, and followed the gunman. >> this lady was shot in the chest. looked to my right, there was another lady shot in the jaw. >> reporter: police caught up with the suspected shooter in this parking lot.

in a barrage of bullets, police say the suspect was killed. meanwhile, bystanders diving for safety. police are still investigating a moti motive, and are still awaiting autopsy reports. next to a conviction sending shock waves through the medical community. a doctor found guilty of overprescribing medications. phillip mena has the details. >> reporter: tonight, the california doctor, after six wee weeks, dr. lisa singh, found
