live now with the latest on the investigation happening now. roz, what is the latest? this was a wild scene. investigators are still on the .cene of the shootout this happened on naylor road and gainesville. an armedld there was carjacking that happened in prince at about 7:00 tonight. the suspect took off. chasing behind were two police agencies, prince george's county police and forest heights police. the suspect came to this location, ending in a crash, then there was a shootout between multiple police officers and the suspect who has since died. no police officers were injured, and we are told d.c. police were not involved with this, but because of the wild shootout happening here in d.c., they will be the lead agency in all of this. live in southeast d.c., roz plater, abc 7 news. alison: roz, thank you.

an unfolding mystery in northeast washington, a man and woman shot to death inside a home in the 200 block of tennessee avenue. the police are trying to identify them and figure out what led to the gunfire. and the police are investigating a serious clash -- crash in clinton at canterbury drive and woodyard road. no word on what caused the crash, but the police say injuries are life-threatening. stay with abc 7 for updates. leon: first we turned our hidden cameras on electricians to see what they would do to fix a small problem in a home and how much they would charge. 7 on your side is doing it again, this time hiring sen them to come putting the test. troubleshooter horace holmes shows us what happened. horace: every homeowner knows eventually they will have to hire a professional. to fix something in their house. >> that fossett.

horace: we went to white house in the d.c. area and called in a master plumber and prince george's community professor gerald. he gave the plumbing in the house a clean bill of house. -- eight clean bill of health. , which created a leak could be easily fixed by anyone with a simple turn. then we hit a cameras throughout. posed as the homeowner while the photographer and i sat in an upstairs room and watched. this plumber wanted to replace the faucet hose. if you are the homeowner and you are not sure this is necessary, what would you do? >> this hose would cost you about $45. horace: here is what our producer did. >> is there another way to fix it where you don't have to replace it? >> we will look right now to see.
