entire coaching staff after a disappointing season. john gonzalez has reaction. john: five division titles but some criticized dusty baker for never winning the big one. like him or not, he is the new manager of the washington nationals after bud black pulled out because he didn't like the one point $6 million, two-year contract he was offered. the 66 euros brings years of experience to washington, d.c. as a player and a manager. even though he has a manage since 2013 when he was with the cincinnati reds. he ranks 17th of all time. most of the fans we have talked to say they are willing to give him a shot. >> i think it is great. he has a lot of experience managing. coming into the nats, he could provide a spike -- provide a

we are at dale city elementary school with a look at one of the closest races. have been open in dale city for about six hours and across the state of virginia, you can see the election signs line the grass. there are two people in this race who have gathered a lot of attention. mcpike.ish and jeremy they are running for state senate. combined, they have spent about $4.5 million. you have seen the negative campaign ads. they have been bashing each other on several issues including gun-control and the proposed $17 toll. jeremy mcpike has received a lot of money out of state. nearly $2.2ed million to several campaigns, but primarily to jeremy mcpike's. he spoke to a lot of voters as they came out today. we want to know what issues

morning. it has turned into a beautiful cloudless sky area temperatures climbing steadily through the 60's to the 70's. moderate-severe rain is there, but everything else is in the slight categories. temperatures are in the upper 60's to 70 degrees. in annapolis as the wind is coming across the river to cool them off. atdegrees in leesburg frederick. we will see our highest between 70-72 degrees today. further north and west of washington you are, temperatures probably will hold in the upper 60's. rain to the of south all day yesterday and clouds from the northern side come overhead. the computer models were right on the button. pressure has built-in and that is suppressed the rain to the south and that will move offshore today. the futurecast shows the clear skies moving through today, but will have to keep an eye on the clouds from tonight.
