the door, the suspects were at the front door. there was an argument, confrontation, at which point he was shot. could not get more information from the man because he was at serious condition at the hospital. he was able to call 911 after he was shot. the suspects fled and neighbors did not get a good description. live in silver spring, montgomery county, tom roussey, abc 7 news. leon: happening now, four children critically hurt after a crash in chillum. tonight, words they were not wearing their seat belt. alison: richard reeve spoke with witnesses. rich, what are they telling you? richard: alison, it is a sad story. here is some of the crash debris. the first car impacted over there, witnesses heard it from blocks away, the other car landing there, crashing into a tree.

virginia died in a petco drying kennel. in both cases, petco says that safety protocols were not followed. arethe owners of this dog suing after their dog died in a cage dryer in 2011. pet owners wondered if the groomer had been licensed and if their dog would be alive if so. this is a puppy that alison did not think she would be ready for after heartbreaking she lost her husband to lung cancer. her comfort was a golden retriever named colby. two years later, last spring, he died when he was left unattended in a cage dryer at this petco outside richmond. how was the drying cage described? >> as a coffin. as a plexiglass coffin. kimberly: do you wish you had seen it before you left your dog? >> oh, yeah. kimberly: this is an example of
