announcer: from abc 7 news, this is a breaking news alert. kimberly: that breaking news is from prince george's town where firefighters are reporting for deaths. let's go live to the scene for more on what happened here. i will update those numbers in just a second. look behind me here -- this has been described by everyone here, witnesses and fire officials as a horrific scene. on the scene in prince george's county and a mutual aid assist from prince george's county. four for tallies, three adults and a child. as many as 12 people injured. three of those were so critically injured they were flown to area trauma centers.

just before 5:00 is when this happened. witnesses say they heard a loud boom, came outside and saw flames shooting into the air at least 20 feet high or so. the account witnesses have given to fire department officials is that down by the metro bridge, there was a pickup truck that struck one vehicle. that pickup trucks tire caught on fire. and inck kept going about 200 feet, it struck a 15 passenger van. that is where most of the injuries and damage occurred. a fiery crash involving at least four people dead and 12 people injured and multiple units on the scene. we are as close as we are allowed to be right now. in theber of fatalities

started falling off. reporter: the entrance was boarded up after taking a look and noting obvious and significant structural damage. the general manager for the company posted letters this weekend saying that they have been asked not to allow access to the building until they can have an engineer investigate the cracks. they resident we spoke to said she first noticed a few months after she moved in but didn't think much of it until last week when someone else raised concerns. she said after she felt the outding shake, she called of caution not thinking she would be forced out of her home. >> they said this is more dangerous than i had even thought. the general manager says they are working to make sure all the resident effective have temporary housing. a building inspector will be out

peak at veterans day and beyond just a few months away. a housekeeper is in trouble, accused of not just cleaning up but cleaning out the elderly, stealing precious labels. on forsay this went months. kevin lewis reports. reporter: on paper, here and $11 an hour working as a housekeeper in silver springs. but court documents allege the 20-year-old took home a lot more . between may and october of this year, seven elderly residents reported their valuables stolen. items like an apple laptop, a camera, insist. jewelry. including one woman's diamond engagement ring. in all, $35,000 gone. today, no answer at the apartment where he lives with his mother.

kimberly: we continue to follow breaking news from hyattsville with a horrific accident there. for people have been killed and more than a dozen injured after massive accident and massive response on the scene. we are still trying to learn the details as to what caused the crash stop we understand there were at least three vehicles involved, one of them catching fire. abc seven news at wjla.com for updates on this breaking news story.

a giant sinkhole opened up in and i hop parking lot in meridian, mississippi, swallowing at least 14 vehicles. is at least 50 feet wide, 30 feet deep, 400 feet long and fortunately, not a single person was hurt. rain in the forecast could theer recovery efforts but vehicles could be removed within three to five days. to the whitece house, the reviews are mixed but the ratings for last night's show hosted by donald trump are not. the show pulled in its largest ratings in three years. the impairments -- the appearance took place during trump's comment about latinos. he tweeted reviews of snl cast members. have everything going, the world is waiting for you to be president, so why are you hosting "saturday night live? the answer is i really have
