a russian jet crashed, killing all on board last week. more clues that the doomed russian airliner was brought down by a terrorist bomb. 224 people died when the metrojet crashed shortly after takeoff. u.s. authorities tell abc news electronic intercepts of isis before and after the crash indicate they were in communication with somebody at the airport. congressman adam ship is one of eight members of congress to receive a classified briefing. >> if this is a bombing in the sinai, isis has fully a clipped al qaeda as the greatest terrorist threat in the world. recruitedisis likely somebody at the airport to plant the bomb on the jet.

as people were buried in st. petersburg, officials say shrapnel was discovered in several bodies, indication that the airplane was brought down by a explosion. it ships and officials have confirmed the cockpit voice recorder captured a distinct but undetermined noise just before it stopped working. >> a noise was heard in the last seconds of the recording. reporter: that sound is critical to figuring out how the crash happened. >> is it a bomb or the airplane physically coming apart? kimberly: a judge has sentenced a former state department official to nearly three years in jail. politically to a dozen charges of voyeurism and stalking. he recorded at least 25 women living in basement level hom between 2010 andf 2014.

according to the report, the number of cars was below the optimal number every weekday in july, august, and most of september. officials say that 62 railcars are currently sitting, waiting for parts. >> part of the issue was the lack of parts being ordered has contributed and is a factor in why some of the cars do not have enough parts to be operable and safe. it is a big task. still ahead, the forecast.

kimberly: the national zoo was going to change its hours january 1, with exhibits opening at 9 a.m., and closing earlier at 4:30. closing hours will be extended in the summertime. a couple days ago the national zoo released this adorable video of the giant panda cub bei bei during his most recent checkup. vets say all his teeth are not in and his back legs are getting stronger. he should be ready to stand on his own any day. let's stay with a video until it runs out. are you kidding? look at that! bamboo if cannot eat

endurance test for several marines come agreeing to be coded in plaster. john gonzalez explains. >> everything is starting to go numb now. time, ae limb at a painstaking but delicate process, creating a lifelike green figure using a real light -- a lifelike marine figure, using a real marine. it is a unique project in time for veterans day. local marines have stepped forward to have casts made of themselves to help other service members who felt in vietnam. the statues will be a new exhibit in quantico. >> what we are depicting a several marines jumping out of a helicopter in the 1965 era. the process is messy, but the results are incredible. everything has to be perfect.
