just days before black friday, a major fraud bust that tysons corner mall. alison: four men from new york are facing charges, between them more than 240 counterfeit credit cards. with chris papst is live how some quick thinking apple store workers made the arrest. chris, tell us about it. chris: the police say when the employees at the apple store inside tysons corner mall notice something was not right about the suspects, they contacted the police. design, there were plenty of officers inside the mall to make the arrest. among the lights, ice, and everything nice about the holiday season, there is one downside -- with the larger crowd comes a spike in retail theft. more organized, coming down from other places, and they know what they are doing, so we have to counter that. the fairfax part of county antitheft team, where during the holiday season

patrols are increased at popular shopping centers. team in fairfax county focuses here at the reston town center, springfield town center, fair oaks, and tysons corner. monday, they were needed. >> it's easier for criminals to get away with things because of the larger crowds, so they focus on nighttime and evening hours. chris: late monday night, the police arrested four men from new york to try to use 241 credit cards to purchase $19,000 of iphones at the apple store. were atime, cat teams the mall. when the suspects tried to flee, all four were apprehended. >> the extra police presence definitely helped. >> there a lot of crowds and a lot of people, so the police are there. you feel safer. the four men who were arrested now face a slew of charges.

they are currently sitting in jail without bail. live from tysons corner, chris papst, abc 7 news. alison: chris, thank you. from fairfax county -- black friday shopping season off to a rough start for a woman who was arrested after trying to cut the line at the best buy in springfield. the incident was caught on cell phone video. the woman became belligerent and assaulted an officer and was taken into custody. are looking for a man who raped a woman in alexandria. met thesay the woman man through the internet and let her -- let him into the hotel room, he then raped her. this happened when eisenhower avenue. if you have seen anything or have any information, the police want to talk to you immediately. alison: major traffic delays near baltimore after a poor bus crash. several people are -- people were injured on the accident on

i-94. several people were hospitalized with her injuries not life-threatening. no word on what triggered the crash. leon: prince george's county police are investigating a deadly shooting. the victim was found on belle haven drive in landover, which is where richard reeve joins us with the latest. what is the latest in what is going on? this crime scene tape behind me is the only outward sign of the investigation, a very busy scene for many hours this evening. just down the driveway is where the man was found shot to death. officers have not told us a lot. here is what we know -- the police arrived shortly before 5:00 checking on a report of shots fired. the arriving officers found that victim in the driveway. he was in his early 20's, lying at the entrance, near the entrance to the 1800 block of belle haven drive. this is a gateway into what is

called the summer ridge apartments. the man was found dead at the scene. we do not know how many times he was shot. a friend of the victim's said he l visitor toiona the neighborhood, he did not believe that he lived here. he did not think it was a random crime and the timing of this makes it very sad. >> it's unfortunate it had to happen this time of the year. i empathize with his family. i have no idea why, i just heard it happen, that's it. >> detectives are canvassing the area, looking for information. if there is surveillance video, that is something we will look at. areard: the detectives cars still here. they are questioning people inside. no lookout or description of
