freddie gray, etc. go on trial. jay korff looks ahead. this is the first of six cases against baltimore police officers charged in connection with the death of freddie gray. some believe that picking an impartial jury could be difficult. 26-year-old william porter faces a number of charges including manslaughter, going on trial monday. more than seven months ago, porter and five other baltimore police officers were involved in the arrest of freddie gray. he was loaded into the back of the police van, shackled, but restrained, say prosecutors. they say that he sustained a severe spinal injury while in custody and died. hours after his funeral, baltimore interrupted in violence. we were there when lawlessness ripped apart charm city. brad: the police are being pelted. rioters attacked police
