hand grenade of a forced customers to evacuate several businesses along georgia avenue in northwest d.c.. ashley coleman is live with the developments. who would bring a hand grenade to a police station? they say the person just wanted to dispose of it safely, but that forced police to shut down this is the section of georgia avenue and evacuate nearby businesses. on sunday, iturs was not safe to shop at walmart and other businesses in northwest d.c. >> we had to wait because someone said there was a live grenade. reporter: that hand grenade was brought to the district for station around 10:00 on sunday morning. police had to evacuate the station along with nearby stores, restaurants and homes on

developing story out of washington. police identified the man wanted for shooting and killing his friend. help finding your this guy -- christopher crawford. he's charge of the murder of tony proctor. the shooting happened late last night. detectives believe the men got into an argument that ended with that shooting. if you have seen him come you are asked to call police. a middleburg road junior police officer is recovering after he was hit by a suspected drunk driver. the officer was directing traffic at route 60 and winery lane when a 53-year-old hit him with her car. the officer had to be flown to the hospital. marsh was arrested and charged with dui. ahead, giving it another try -- find out if a fourth attempt to launch a rocket to the iss finally succeeded.

unique. many residents in takoma park lost their cool and an ace hardware opened up just on the road. this starbucks has caused quite a stir and caused a group to launch a comment board online. about 70% of the comments are anti-starbucks. it is funky, hipster, bohemia men proud of it. >> we have a sign that says we serve everyone only. reporter: but the latest word on these freethinking tacoma street is starbucks maybe coming to town. >> what's nice is tacoma doesn't have a lot of change. i don't think starbucks is needed. there's a lot of good coffee here already. reporter: we counted for coffee shops in the town.
