confirm that, kimberly. i asked that question to the annapolis fire department. they said they are hearing those reports, but at this point everything is under consideration and they are not willing or able to declare an exact cause of the fire, but they are looking into the possibility it was a christmas tree. apparently, an employee from inside the yacht club was tweeting that it was a christmas tree responsible for the fire, but the annapolis fire department is not willing to confirm that at this point. the fire began around 2:15 this afternoon, and 90 firefighters responded to the three alarm fire. nobody inside the building was hurt, though, when firefighters responded. one firefighter suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. the parade of lights, which was scheduled for tonight down here in annapolis, has been canceled. it will probably be reschedule, though they don't know when. traffic is a mess. streets blocked off.

if you don't have to come down to annapolis, i would strongly advise not coming down here for the rest of the evening. the fire department told me minutes ago that the fire is officially under control, but as you can see they are still knocking down at least one hotspot on the roof. firefighters in a cherry picker, knocking down the fire with some water. officially, the fire is under control. it will probably be smoldering for quite a while. the smell of smoke is quite distinct down here in annapolis, at the site of the smoke, visible for at least a mile around. lots more on the story tonight on news channel 8 at 10:00 and abc 7 at 11:00. kimberly? kimberly: such a shame. such an iconic spot. we will return to coverage from annapolis in a little bit. december feels more like march, and warmer temperatures for tomorrow, even. devon lucie has a first look at your amazing december forecast.

devon: well into the 70's on most everywhere, and a couple spots near 80 at the belfort furniture weather center. we will start with a snapshot of the nation >> capital -- nation's capital. we might have fog later in the night. 71 in baltimore. frederick, 70. manassas at 73. 68 at reagan national. the anomaly is right next to potomac, a weather sensor off the main runway. you have a little southeast breeze, right at the cold water, 46.6 degrees in the potomac, so the sensor puts 68 on the board. 50's and 60's overnight. it will start out tomorrow morning at and above the average high for this time of year. the clouds, and still some sunshine, pretty warm. a potential to set a record

tomorrow. the record high is 71. still another mild day before rain on monday. we had our complete forecast in a few more minutes. let's go to mike in georgetown. i would say is a cold one out there, but it is quite the opposite tonight. mike: the stormwatch seven weather app says it is currently 64 in georgetown, but just how warm is it depends who you ask. >> it is so beautiful. feels like spring. mike: the weather outside is delightful. >> it is beautiful. i can't believe it is almost 70 degrees, and we are christmas shopping. >> it does not feel like christmas right now. volunteers went to arlington national cemetery as part of the wreaths across america day event. richard reeve was with them as they paid respects. richard: a cool fog gently blanketed arlington national cemetery early saturday. but soon enough, hundreds of people arrived here. >> i am here to honor the fallen who served this country. richard: to take part in a beloved patriotic tradition. 230,000 wreaths arrived by tractor-trailer, one for every headstone in the cemetery. >> a great service to our community, and the people and families of people buried here. richard: one by one, they bega the task. -- they began the task. >> i get there and start crying, because you know these men and women gave up so much for you. richard: a way of getting back, a thank you.

kimberly: we are following breaking news out of annapolis about the yacht club still on fire. these are live pictures of that smoldering situation, which started around 2:30 at the annapolis yacht club this afternoon. firefighters are still trying to put it out. we will have the big story on that at 11:00 tonight. security remains very high around geneva, switzerland following the arrest of two individuals on suspicion of terror links. mary maloney has details on those arrests, and whether they could be linked to the terrorist attacks. married: police arrested two people in switzerland after locating vehicles and finding what authority say are traces of explosions. >> the swiss authorities are saying that these two men are being arrested for possible ties to a terrorist organization.

mary: both individuals had syrian passports and were arrested on suspicion of manufacture and concealment and transport of explosive and toxic gases. according to swiss prosecutors, allegedlyarrested for to al qaeda and isis and similar organizations. >> authorities say to expect more house searches>> in the coming days, expect more arrests in the coming days. mary: authorities have been looking for at least two people with indirect links to the suspect in the paris attacks, in which 130 were killed. however, it is not immediately clear if the geneva arrest are linked to those attacks. murray maloney, -- mary maloney, abc 7 news. kimberly: after four years of negotiating, more than 196 countries agreed on something, to limit the effects of greenhouse gases. the climate change agreement was formally accepted to a standing ovation today at the paris climate conference. each country has to set its own

[laughter] >> it will be great tomorrow, and there's no doubt it will be just as nice. the only question is a little cloud cover. we will get a southeast breeze right at reagan national, where almost the entire region has southwest winds today. sunshine even in high altitudes, and temperatures well into the 70's. in fact, closer to 80. just southeast winds, right off the potomac here today. runway 119, the main runway, temperature sensors are just to the east of that, almost to the water, and you get a little bit of a breeze off the water that is 46.6 degrees. circling the entire metro, 71 in baltimore, and lower to mid 70's coming around. relatively mild overnight.

some restaurants this evening are having the patios going. a great opportunity to do that in december, which you don't normally get. clouds today, a really warm weather pattern for this time of year, possibly record-setting. the record high tomorrow is 71 degrees. over the next two days, we continue the warmth, but storms to the west of here will blow in some cloud cover that might be thicker. 1:00 on monday, the rain is still far west, not going to arrive until at least early afternoon, more likely monday night. resetting overnight to tomorrow morning. this is incredible. this is where you set records, when you start off with the average high for the time of year. the low temperatures are the average high. leesburg, 48. cloud cover tomorrow looks like today, maybe some thicker clouds, putting 70 on the board. not quite the record, but in that territory. could be as warm as 78, nearly 80 in fredericksburg. even charlottesville and stanton have the same opportunity.
