southwest washington. jeannette reyes has the details. jeanette: fire and hazmat crews were scrambling to contain and ammonia leak in a skating rink. it scared many. park ice rink is usually swarming with kids, especially this time of year, but this defendedhazmat crews onto m street near the navy yard. i ammonia was leaking from a valve under the rank and set off an alarm. the gas is a cooling agent that can be deadly if inhaled. >> it gets really dangerous. never in my life have i seen something like this. i have been down here for a while. jeanette: a safety system did kick in and shut off the leak and set off the alarms.

a developing story overseas. , there has been a scramble with the united nations council. they are trying to convene an emergency meeting after north korea claims it has successfully tested a hydrogen bomb. it seriously undermines operation efforts. i condemn it, unequivocally. concern after this announcement from north korean state media, claiming that an earthquake near the nuclear testing facility was caused by the first successful test of a hydrogen bomb. the weapon can be about 10,000 times more powerful than an like those dropped on hiroshima and at nagasaki in world war ii. this would be the fourth time testing nuclear weapons since
