investigating a homicide at the metro station and capitol heights. matt, what can you tell us about with the police know so far? matt: the police were called to the scene at 3:30 this afternoon. when they arrived in the 200 block of addison road, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound and in area behind an abandoned house. the man was alive when he was put into an ambulance at the scene, but by the time he arrived at the hospital he was pronounced dead. we have no information about the victim's identity nor any possible suspects or a motive in the case, but the investigation is still very much ongoing. the crime scene investigators and homicide detectives are on the scene. if there is any new information in the case, we will be sure to pass them along. lowe, abc 7 news.

kimberly: we have been digging out of blizzard 2016 now for a full week, but for many of you snow-covered sidewalks, parking spaces, and lot are still causing headaches. richard reeve says frustration is still high. richard: the frustration is high and the snow piles are high. this is the kind of thing that you will see in many areas around the metro area. some of the sidewalks are perfectly clear. when we look further on, some are clogged up with still a lot of work to be done. snowblowers, shovels, and a whole lot of ansgst. >> it's horrible. >> safety is the biggest reason. richard: an ice covered post office lot has customers seeing
