report, a toddler was great when a bullet came through the window sun hair salon where he was with his mother. >> with that happening with little babies, that is not good. >> is struck the little boy behind the ear. the report also shows an adult male was shot in the ankle. >> that guy was next to my car. say shooting the neighbors leaves them feeling uneasy. >> i worry about the people that are messing around. in thes the first time three years since he opened his shop that he has seen anything like this. situation, it is not good. this police report shows that both victims were treated at the hospital and have been released.

live in northwest d.c., abc 7 news. kimberly: good news. police in stafford county are investigating an early morning homicide. police are looking for this man, who is wanted for first-degree murder in the shooting. the victim was found just before 5:00 a.m. this morning, and died on the way to the hospital. police believe the suspect is armed and dangerous. please call 911 if you see him. also new tonight, and firefighters are investigating a ghastly that led to an explosion in a home in woodbridge. arrived to see high levels of gas in the home. when they were leaving, a windowl blew out a . we will have more on this story tonight at 11:00 p.m. turning to 2016 now, a busy day

kimberly: breaking news for you right now. crews are on the scene of a serious crash on south capitol street. we are live there right now with the breaking details. what happened. ? >> kimberly, we just got here and you can see the two vehicles that were involved in the crash are right here on south capitol street at the foot of the bridge. we are right next the parking, and what d.c. police are telling us is that it is a serious accident. one car was driving over the bridge and hit another vehicle. driver in that striking vehicle was actually thrown from his car and transformed into the hospital with life-threatening injuries. people in the other vehicle

were transported to the hospital. we do not know about their injuries. this crash happened and little over two hours ago. street rightitol here is shut down. you can see a pretty heavy police residents still in the area as they investigate what happened. what we know is that one person was thrown from that vehicle after this two car crash that happened in the 4:00 p.m. hour. we are right next to the hour, and this street is shut down. we will be here and try to figure out the details and bring you the latest details at 11:00 p.m. kimberly: thank you. bowl 50 just got underway. security is pretty heavy and local,, and more than 60 and federal agencies are protecting the area. flight restrictions are in place. >> if you have to go to the grocery store today, all of those people are in bars right now.

ppen to catch it, you can check out my tweets. writing to the forecast, we had cloud cover here in washington today. we will actually clear these clouds tonight. for the next few days, we have clearing skies, but we haven't upper-level system that develops a surface flow, and it is tracking that serve as low -- tracking that low, that comes right over washington. have a little bit more snow in washington, and then tomorrow morning, the timing is back again with low temperatures tomorrow morning. another hard freeze, another day of melting, and last of the snow sex. let's get right into the forecast. by afternoon we're looking at doctors in the mid 40's. it is going to start the presentation tomorrow evening. see rain coming in.

take a look at this forecast. it is one of the latest ones just in. it hardly has anything at all. this is actually forecast that does have much more the way of precipitation, and this will be more snow coming in at 3:00 a.m. in the morning. this is really in line with what we are thinking with initial totals and heavier snow. but washington is off to the north here. look at this latest forecast, it goes back to say a low tracking right over the top of us, and hardly any precipitation at all. this is a forecast, which is small changes and huge errors in the forecast. the snow totals may be around an inch in the washington metro. the north metro may be closer to three inches, and areas further north we have more potential for possible snow coming in. but there's also equal opportunity in the second forecast that we do not get anything at all.

that is the best information we have at this time for the initial snow total, and that is not even getting into tuesday evening. and a lot of mix coming in. to rain, it starts tomorrow night, if possible transition to snow overnight, and back to rain as we go through tuesday. a very complicated forecast. small changes, big differences. kimberly: it will be tough for the school to figure out. how are they doing in basketball? >> really good. i think it is against the loss to talk about anything but the super bowl.
