touched, grabbed, and sexually assaulted. alison: it all happened on board a school bus and fairfax county months ago. now, questions about why this incident did not come to light until now. leon: jeff goldberg has the top story. why did this take so long? jeff: good question, leon. this happened november 16, but the principal at glasgow middle school only became known recently. the police said earlier today when the attack happened on campus, the bus driver was not on board. the search warrant details a 12-year-old girl at the hands of two 12-year-old male classmates, both charged with sexual battery.

come as the girl was walking to the back of the bus, one of the boys slept are on the buttocks, then continue to grab her inappropriately for 10 to 12 minutes. both boys held her down and straddled her even though she yelled "stop." one held her feet down while the second one try to force her head into his crotch. >> i'm disturbed this happened. witness told her mother, who told the school officials. tonight, the school principal sent a letter saying that an investigation began immediately after the assault was reported, adding, "as soon as the allegations were made, the students were removed and remain removed from all classes and also had bus privileges revoked." >> if this happened to my girls, i would be devastated. >> obviously,
