4:05 pm
what does this mean for carraway? brad: a number of things. first and foremost it means when he goes to court it won't be an in upper marlboro but in green belt at the u.s. district courthouse. but it's also very significant because it means since these are the child porn charges the evidence is the video, itself. the young victims, the young alleged victims here will not have to appear in court to testify against him. it also means much stiffer penalties. potentially for mr. carraway. >> production of the child pornography carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in federal prison. if the defendant were convicted on the eight federal charges filed today he would face minimum of 12 20 years, life sentence in

prison. brad: that is the u.s. attorney talking there. it is important to note that the federal system right now does not have parole. a sentence is a sentence. it is likely that the charges will be adjudicated here in federal court. they will not eventually be prosecuted in the state court. although, the state did announce indictments today. when we come back at 5:00, we have more on this. including what should be a lesson for every parent out there. lesson learned from this case. in greenbelt, brad bell, abc7 news. jonathan: all right. thanks. let's talk politics. it has been anything but routine on the campaign trail. that is for sure. >> many women who left their kitchen to go out and go door to door and put yard signs up for me all the way back when things were different. >> a guy throwing punches, nasty as hell, screaming at everything else when we are talking and

marco rubio and ted cruz. polling numbers are sometimes mocked in nevada. there is traditionally a low turn-out. this is only the third time in a presidential cycle they had a caucus. before that it was a primary. you can't rely on them as you might in other states. it will be about the turn-out. caucuses begin in four hours. remember we are three hours behind you on the east coast. so we are not going to get the results until 9:00 las vegas time. midnight on the east coast. we will keep a close eye on them. if there is any room for marco rubio or ted cruz or huge upset of john kasich or ben carson to have a good night could it upset the momentum donald trump is enjoying? we have to watch and wait and see. jonathan: there are some folks that are tired of the process. it is all over the place. how soon. could it be mid-march before we have definitive answer for the republicans and the democr

count? scott: here is why. donald trump is enjoying a significant lead. he has 67 delegates to date after just the first three states voting. the next nearest competitor is ted cruz. he has 11. this for example, nevada, is a 30-delegate state. but it's proportionate so it's meted out on how you perform. like suarez was. all the states we talked about for super tuesday, big majority of them from next tuesday on out are the winner take all states. if he is leading in the polls and he starts to win the states it could be a run-away. because he will pile up the big, double digit numbers every state he wins. that is when it nay -- may be insur mountable for the other -- insurmountable for the other candidates. is there someone like rubio who can grab up the supporters that jeb bush had or take some fr
