>> the detective is on the stand and we learned the crucial evidence cracking the case that led to the arrest, the surveillance video. this is video taken february 12 outside of mcdonald's on e street. this is where chris marquez was assaulted. this is what we have learned. according to a witness in the mcdonald's that night and who was interviewed by the detective on the stand right now, this witness corroborates marquez's story that indeed the group did surround him and begain taunting him with slogans about black lives matter and if he supported that. and when marquez did his best to ignore them and did not respond that angered one of the suspects. the suspect you first see striking marquez. the witness told when marquez refuse to respond. as we was leaving he smiled at the 17-year-old male. that drove

we are told the firefighter's head was burned when the helmet was knocked off. he was treated and released at a burn center. the home on silver street suffered extensive damage but no one else was hurt. michelle: if you park your car to head to work you expect to find it the way you left it, right? it turns out that hasn't been the case at a woodbridge commuter lot. amy aubert looked into the third round of theft at the horner road commuter lot in the past six months. for some commuters parking in the lot makes them nervous. >> on the corner. amy: john parks in the commuter lot every day. >> i feel like now i got to probably catch a ride every morning or something. amy: prince william prince say friday six cars had the window smashed and one stripped of the tires.

it is a big lot. people drive through here all day long. >> not the first time that the drivers in the commuter lot are left on edge. in october, car owner sent abc7 the pictures and placed a four wheel cinder block. >> lot struck several times. we don't see a pattern in how or what they are striking or what they are getting. amy: police say this time around the suspects got away with the car stereo systems and the c.d. players. we started near the entrance. we checked out every lot in the area. we didn't find any damage but we did see official patrolling the area. >> there are no cameras. anybody could walk up to the car and do them how they want to. amy: police say at one point they had mobile cameras monitoring the area. for now beyond increasing patrols they don't want to
