scuffle at a campaign event. abc's david wright begins our conch. >> reporter: a raucous rally at radford university and a reporter roughed up by a member of donald trump's secret service detail. the "time" magazine photographer chris morris says he stepped out of the press pen. secret service agent blocked him. harsh words exchanged. [ bleeped ]. >> reporter: witnesses say that's when the agent grabbed him by the neck and threw him down. republican primary seems like a school yard brawl these days. >> rubio's won nothing. i've never seen a human being sweat like he sweats. >> reporter: the tone set not just by trump mocking his rivals but by his rivals mocking him. >> he doesn't sweat because his pores are clogged from the spray tan that he uses. >> reporter: marco rubio hasn't yet called trump a short fingered bulgarian. >> i don't understand why his hands are the size of

have you seen his hands? they're like this. you know what they say about men with small hands. >> reporter: but he's used just about every other insult. >> you can't trust him. >> reporter: chris morris has since apologized for escalating this confrontation. >> he choked me so i put my hand on him and that's when i was arrested. >> reporter: but the trump campaign and the secret service have yet to apologize to him. david wright, abc news, new york. never a dull moment. in the meantime it, melania trump is speaking out saying she doesn't always agree with her husband, especially his language. including when he repeated a crude word that a woman at one of his events shouted out to describe ted cruz. >> i was in new hampshire when the woman was shouting out the inappropriate word. >> right. >> and i was there and i'm thinking like don't repeat it in my head. just for him, don't repeat it. just don't say it because the next day, media all day will talk about that. but he repeated. >> clearly that interview was

mrs. trump tells cnn that afterward she did share her thoughts with her husband. >> to the democrats now and bernie sanders raising more than $5 million yesterday alone simply by asking small donors for more money burks sanders is fight aguphill battle. the latest poll has hillary clinton at 55%, nearly 20 points ahead of sanders. with more here's abc's cecilia vega. >> all right, everybody, are you fired up? >> reporter: hillary clinton hoping to sweep the south and win super tuesday. >> if you go out and vote for me tomorrow, i will stand up and fight for you throughout this campaign, no matter who the republicans nominate. >> reporter: in virginia, with just hours left until voting begins, clinton feeling confident. secretary clinton, your super tuesday prediction? >> just happy to be in virginia, working hard for every single vote. >> reporter: she's riding a wave of momentuaf

carolina blowout, winning 86% of the black vote. that's even more than president obama won in 2008. now, she's looking for a repeat in states like georgia and alabama, where african-americans make up half of all democratic voters. >> and tomorrow, this campaign goes national. >> reporter: bernie sanders now facing tough questions about the future of his campaign. >> we got decimated. but we got killed. >> reporter: while he packed in the crowds -- >> we can win, no question, here in minnesota if we have a turnout. >> reporter: the vermont senator logged just two stops on the campaign trail. while clinton and her husband made a super-sized super tuesday push, visiting three different states and eight different cities. both clintons now have their eyes on the same target -- donald trump. and the state department has now released the final batch of hillary clinton's e-mails from her private server, more than 50,000 pages in all.

dees will head up the efforts to the select the nominee. right now, he oversees the president's climate change policy. >> a veteran hollywood character actor has died. george kennedy is best remembered for his supporting role in "cool hand luke" for which he won an oscar. but he acted in dozens of other major films in his more than 50-year career, often as a tough guy. but he switched to comedy in the "naked gun" series of cop spoofs. george kennedy a world war ii veteran died of natural causes. he was 91. health officials in chicago announced the first case of zika virus in the city. a woman who had recently traveled to columbia has since recovered and scientists say they may have the first proof that the virus causes temporary paralysis. the research was based on an outbreak in tahiti two years ago. in that study, none of the patients died but 38% had to be admitted to the icu. there's a delay in salt warnings in new york's city's chain restaurants.

today was the day that big apple eateries had to post icons in their menus warning about high sodium items or be fined some $200. but an industry group won a last-minute temporary reprieve pending appeal. it says the city is overstepping its authority. these are the last hours in space for american astronaut scott kelly. he's been on the international space station for nearly a full year. >> kelly handed over command of the station to another astronaut monday. and later he and two russian crew members will ride a spacecraft back to earth. kelly says being up there so long required a lot of help. >> space flight is the biggest team sport there is. and it's, you know, incredibly important that we all work together to make what is seemingly impossible possible. kelly and the russians will land tonight in kazakhstan.

well, a close call for a fedex driver in southern louisiana during a powerful tornado. she spotted the funnel cloud in her rearview mirror and tried to take shelter inside a hardware store. but the door was locked and it was barricaded with sandbags. so the driver hid behind a soda machine outside the store. it fell over, and the tornado all but destroyed that store. but the fedex driver just fine. >> dramatic. wow. and this certainly was an adventure in moving. near detroit, a high speed chase of an allegedly stolen u-haul van began on an interstate highway, then moved to local roads. the chase continued even after the truck's tires blew out, based on obstacles police had placed in the road. finally a deputy banged into the van with his cruiser

and the truck came to a halt. but i'm sure the cops didn't help with the moving at that point. well, on the high seas a troubled cruise ship is racing back to the home port. it was in new jersey. this is the second time it's coming back home. >> we're talking about royal caribbean's "anthem of the seas." you've heard of it. damage after charging into hurricane force winds last month. well, it is now being forced to turn around yet again. here's abc's gio benitez. >> reporter: for the second time this month, the "anthem of the seas" is heading home early, but royal caribbean says it's because of the weather, not because ten people a day are reporting symptoms of norovirus. the cruise line tweeting that a "severe forecast storm" is to blame and that norovirus in a small percentage of 6,000 passengers "didn't affect the decision to return." an abc news forecast map shows the ship now racing to beat the storm, and arrive on wednesday. ahead of that oncoming storm that will hit on f

and the surprise was ben told lauren b. i love you, as well. so he went there. he went there on that one. then there was jojo. they took another helicopter ride. they've had a helicopter ride before in vegas, if i recall. well, they took this one in jamaica. they headed off to a very romantic waterfall. jojo decides to get in on the act. she says i do love you, ben, to which ben says, jojo, i love you, too. >> what? >> you know where that ended up. >> in the fantasy suite? >> right there in the fantasy suite where they had their own hot tub. ben's got himself in a right proper mess by now. and here comes caila. she decides that she's going to surprise ben who is doing some deep thinking right there with the camera perfectly positioned. surprise. you know what the surprise was? she said she wanted to do something spontaneous. well, ben
