we have now recovered it within the last month. scott: police say even if the knife is linked to this case, simpson is forever off the hook because he has been acquitted of nicole brown simpson and her friend ronald goldman's murders. maureen: the prince county teacher's aide in child pornography case pleaded not guilty to federal charges. deonte carraway appeared in court for the first time since being indicted on new charges. carraway is accused of filming and engaging in sexual acts with 17 children. all under the age of 13. carraway was indicted last week on 13 federal counts of exploitation of 11 children. he faces 30 years in prison on each count. updating a story we brought you earlier this week. michael marshall who escaped from the northern virnia mental health institute is now again in custody. he was picked up in loudoun county last

maureen: president obama signed disaster declarations today for maryland and the district. all related to the blizzard of 2016. which just happened a few months ago. a few weeks ago! that means federal funding will be available for state and local gots and some non-profit group -- local governments and non-profit group. scott: we now know when supreme court will hear bob mcdonald's appeal. april 27 at 10:00 in the morning. mcdonald was convicted on corruption charges. he accepted loans and gifts

but he maintains he provided no political favors in return. claiming everything he did was legal. noah's law is moving to its next step. maryland house committee passed the bill named for montgomery county police officer noah leotta who was killed while on d.u.i. enforcement late last year. the bill requires more convicted drunk drivers to use ignition locks and it now goes to the full house for a vote. senate committee will consider the bill next week. maureen: "7 on your side" with a health alert tonight. a new heart study says certain jobs could increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. the american heart association says jobs in sales, office support and food service are at the top of the list. they say 68% of the salespeople in the study had poor eating habits and 69% had unhealthy cholesterol levels. they also found 90% of the police officers and the firefighters were considered overweight or even

scott: well, bald eagle soaring through the sky can be an impressive sight. it's not often we get up close to one. but someone recently spotted a struggling eagle clearly hurt. brad bell introduces us to the people nursing an american treasure back to health. brad: even injured and huddling in a cage the bald eagle is a striking sight. piercing eyes. brilliant white head. >> they are huge. magnificent. brad: suzanne runs the owl moon raptor center and cares for all sorts of birds of prey but eagles remain special. >> beautiful bird. brad: this bird injured yesterday in potomac likely hit by a car. montgomery county officer control officer gill, the bird's rescuer. she netted it and got it in a blanket. that is when the maryland natural resource officer danny thomas arrives to help. >> i was surprised how large it was. the first thing i saw was the beak and the tall lons.

little bit. we don't have to worry about the extreme wind chill factors that we had earlier today when it felt a lot colder than the temperatures in the 20's. now that the winds ease it's still chilly overnight but they won't have a cold feeling on your face if you are out and about going to georgetown or to grab a bite to eat. 34 degrees is what it feels like leesburg now. wind chill factors hold in the 30's. satellite and the radar is well ways off.
