racism and zen phobia and bigotry. >> reporter: sanders and clinton were asked if their positions on undocumented workers was pandering to latinos. they both answered about talking about times when they stood up for immigrants. as for the republican candidates they are also in miami up next. they debate there tonight. kendis and reena, back to you. >> we will be watching. stephanie ramos live in washington, thanks so much. all right, yeah, let's talk about the republican side because donald trump says that he'll go for a knockout if he beats his rivals in their home states next week. >> the latest polls show that trump has a double-digit lead over marco rubio in florida. one poll shows him trailing john kasich in ohio but two others have trump a few points ahead. >> protesters inside his packed rally in fayetteville, north carolina, interrupted his speech 17 times. 11,000 were packed inside while thousands more were turned away.

>> breaking overnight extreme weather, there are flash flood watches for an area stretching from south texas to central illinois. nearly a foot of rain has fallen. flooding many areas and forcing residents it their homes. a state of emergency has been declared for 16 louisiana parishes like this one right there. and as you can see on the radar there is much more rain on the way to the south central u.s. that part of the country could see another foot of rain before the storm moves out tomorrow. and on the left you can see a pineapple express storm pulling into the west coast. well, breaking news from pennsylvania where police are searching for two gunmen following a deadly shooting. police say the suspects opened fire in an ambush-style attack on a backyard party in wilkinsburg. at least five people were killed. four of them -- of the victims were found dead on the back porch. the other died at the hospital. no word on what led to the shooting. the man who allegedly shot a pastor six types in idaho before being arrested a

and there are questions about how kyle odom was able to fly from boise, idaho, to washington, d.c. the tsa says it does not screen passengers for outstanding criminal warrants unless specifically notified. well, today thousands of people will continue paying final respects to former first ladyreagan. at one point her casket was carried by secret service agents who served her over the years. during the public viewing many left messages of condolences including one thank you for your love of our great country. tomorrow's funeral was planned by reagan herself. there will be lots of pomp an ceremony at the white house. justin trudeau arrived in the u.s. yesterday with his family. the young leader has been compared to president obama. today's agenda includes a formal welcoming ceremony on the south lawn and

this video captures officers in ohio just after they recaptured a suspect after he had broken out of county jail. the guy who was on the run had bad timing in all of this. local officers were on their second day of training with the drone when they used it during the search locating the suspect was the first official assignment using that drone. well, seattle fire investigators say an explosion that leffed a building was accidental. cleanup is under way after the powerful early morning blast. the building housed two cafes and a grocery store but as many as three dozen other businesses were damaged. nine firefighters had minor injuries from the explosion. all have been released from the hospital. well, the city of flint, michigan, will stop sending out water bills until it can straighten out the billing. residents have been paying for water they haven't been able to drink for the past two years. they authorized 30 million to assist. the average customer will get a

night near pittsburgh. here is what we know right now-- five people are dead, and three more were injured when witnesses say gunmen stormed into a backyard party-- and opened fire. two of the injured victims are in critical condition. police are looking for at least two suspects, but they haven't made any arrests. no word yet on a possible motive. we are following this story and will bring you updates, throughout the morning. turning to the 20-16 presidential race. a fiery night in miami as the final two democratic candidates traded shots on the debate stage. hillary clinton and senator bernie sanders clashed over several issues including comprehensive immigration reform, and universal healthcare.
