in pennsylvania. d.c. police identified a man shot to death inside his car last night. 29-year-old darnell richardson from cheverly. police say he was shot on benning road northeast and tried to escape from that scene and he made it to 275 and the benning road exit where he died. so far no word on a suspect or motive in the killing. maureen: story of fighting back against crime. d.c. police are crediting good samaritans for stopping an assault. this happened yesterday morning near 8th and second street northwest. police say the group of people came upon on a man trying to sex watchly assault a woman. they scared him off and called police. police say they capture the suspect a short time later. leon: paul wiedefeld talked with brianne carter about the
