the festival got underway this past weekend and after going back and forth the national park service saying these trees are on time. they believe peak bloom will begin this wednesday and that means when 70% of these cherry trees are open, the pink buds are definitely starting to peak. the blooming period can last as long as 14 days. the cold weather could play a factor. could slow up the process of it. we found folks out here from lancaster pa who came out to take pictures. one couple locally, they were taking engagement pictures even though it is still a few days early. >> we were pushing our photo shoot akin fourth because of the weather. they bloomed much earlier than expected. a beautiful day, a bit chilly out. john: peak bloom has been right around april 10. you have to go back to 2012 for an early peak bloom. back then it was on march 20.

pennsylvania. the area will swing to the north but we could pick up cloudiness. the gusty wind will persist. as we get through the next couple of days, watch how things change. futurecast for this afternoon, still with gusty wind out of the northwest. watch for the wind starting to change. as we eventually get them to day tomorrow that's when the real change begins. high pressure shifts off to the east and we pick up more of a southwesterly wind and day by day the southwesterly wind will increase and bring warmer air into the region. it's not going to keep going that way it day after day. another cold front thursday night or friday that will drive temperatures back. giving you something to look forward to. six degrees in the sunshine tomorrow. 71 on wednesday. 75 degrees on thursday with sunshine. may coincide with peak bloom of the cherry blossoms. the front will come in. temperatures will drop off the other way so we are

scan of her son adele the singer. reporter: this morning, global pop sensation adele, the newest victim of an alleged photo hacking scandal. her private photos reportedly stolen and posted to a fan page on facebook. according to the sun, the league includes personal photos taken during her pregnancy. and all for soundscan and newborn photos of her now three-year-old son. the british paper also reporting one of adele's spans can across the photos and decided to alert the singer's management team saying, i was appalled and upset when i saw the pictures. they are really private and should not be passed around. the report also claims that adele's photos were obtained from the e-mail of her boyfriend. adele is not the first celebrity targeted by hackers. a vacation
